Messari analyst: If miners end up migrating to ETC, hashrate will jump

Dunleavy, the Sr. research analyst of Messari, tweeted that looking at fundamental metrics, nothing has changed about ETC chain. Volumes and users have been largely unchanged for years. Applications are non-existent. Developer activity has not meaningful changed. 97% of GPU mining rev comes from ETH. 2% comes from ETC. He said that if miners end up migrating to ETC, hashrate will jump causing the mining diff to jump, pushing a maj of miners out of the US dollor. The only way to remain profitable is if ETC price jumps.
