Donald Trump’s latest Truth Social post on the Iran war has renewed fears across global markets, sending investors away from riskier assets such as Bitcoin. As Iran war updates continue to unfold, analysts say the Bitcoin price could face additional selling pressure before its next major rally.

Trump Warns Iran of Military Response
U.S. President Donald Trump on Truth Social has warned Iran against any attack. On July 10, President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that “1,000 missiles are locked and loaded” and aimed at Iran.

He warned that thousands more would follow if the Iranian government acted on its alleged threats.

The statement came after reports that Israel shared intelligence with the U.S., claiming Iran had developed a new plot to assassinate Trump. The alleged plan was reportedly linked to senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Ahmad Vahidi.

Why Could Bitcoin Price Fall?
Bitcoin has often reacted negatively whenever geopolitical tensions increase. Since the conflict intensified earlier this year, Bitcoin has struggled to maintain its upward momentum. 

The cryptocurrency fell from around $70,000, before recovering to nearly $82,792 in May as geopolitical tensions eased.  However, BTC has since slipped back to around $64,211 as fresh fears returned to the market.

If tensions continue to rise, analysts believe Bitcoin could see another wave of selling before buyers step back into the market.

Trader Expects One Final Pullback
Crypto analyst Merlijn The Trader believes Bitcoin is still moving through the final phase of its current market cycle before the next major rally begins.

World Cup Predictions: 100,000 USDT Daily

BTC Prophet: 20-Day 380 Million HTX Challenge

Morpho [MORPHO] was officially launched on Solana on Thursday, July 9. The lending protocol token is now available for trading on decentralized exchanges like Raydium and Jupiter, and is fully integrated via Sunrise, the official announcement read.

Token prices jumped higher on the back of this news. It has rallied 8.34% in 24 hours, with an uptick in daily trading volume of 105% and an Open Interest hike of just over 18%.

These volume and speculative interest trends point toward the beginning of a short-term upward move. A week ago, it was reported that Standard Chartered forecast a $60 target for Morpho.

The question now is whether that momentum can last.

The Fixed Range Volume Profile tool and the MORPHO price action since April have both highlighted a similar fact. The altcoin was trading within a range, but could be close to achieving a bullish breakout.

The RSI certainly agreed. The recent upward momentum that drove prices upward by 43%, from $1.59 to the current price of $2.28, began on June 23.

On the other hand, the A/D indicator is struggling to pick itself off from the local lows. The downtrend in the volume indicator since March signaled steady selling pressure even as prices consolidated within a range.

This range extended from $1.64 to $2.28. The volume profile tool showed slightly different Value Area High and Low levels, at $1.59 and $2.13, respectively. In any case, the indicators and range formation showed where a MORPHO reversal could commence from.

LAB rebounded from a low near $5.68 earlier in July and rallied to a high of $18.32. After reaching that level, the altcoin faced rejection and entered a steep decline.

The altcoin then recorded three consecutive lower daily closes and briefly fell below $1.

At press time, LAB traded around $1.17 after gaining roughly 25% over the past day. Market Cap also climbed about 25% to nearly $366 million.

However, the recovery came with an important caveat.

Trading Volume fell more than 40% despite the price rally, indicating buying activity weakened even as LAB recovered. That divergence suggested the rebound may not have been driven by broad market demand.

Why did LAB rebound?
AMBCrypto attributed the rebound to a deflationary move by the LAB team rather than stronger organic demand.

The team burned 10 million LAB, worth about $11.3 million, as the token remained under heavy selling pressure. Reducing the circulating supply appeared to ease immediate selling pressure and helped LAB recover above $1.

Historically, token burns have often supported short-term price recoveries. LAB appeared to follow the same pattern.

Can token burns offset upcoming unlocks?
Even so, the broader supply picture remained less encouraging.

Blockchain investigator ZachXBT previously claimed insiders controlled roughly 95% of the altcoin supply, giving a small group significant market influence.

ZachXBT also alleged that the borrower address linked to the LAB contract was used for token buybacks, suggesting the team managed buybacks, burns, and token sales.

However, larger supply increases may soon outweigh the recent burn.

According to Tokenomist, 14.8 million LAB, worth about $15.4 million, from the airdrop allocation will unlock soon.
