On the surface , the XRP’s trend still looks awfully ugly. But digging into the on-chain data, a more complicated story begins to emerge. As retail participation continues fading, losses are mounting, yet spoke of the largest holders appearing to be moving in the opposite direction. That’s where XRP gets more interesting.

Bitcoin is “A Screaming Buy”: Standard Chartered Backs $100,000 Target, Shrugs Off Strategy (MSTR) Sell-Off

Standard Chartered maintained its end-2026 Bitcoin price forecast of $100,000 in a note to investors on Friday, arguing that the recent weakness reflects a failure by Strategy to explain a strategic shift rather than any deterioration in the company’s balance sheet.

Geoffrey Kendrick, the bank’s global head of digital assets research, wrote that Strategy — the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, with 843,775 coins, more than 4% of the 21 million that will ever exist — “appears to be pivoting from its ‘never sell Bitcoin’ mantra to a more complex approach.” 

Clear communication of that pivot, he wrote, will determine how fast the pressure on BTC lifts.

Between 2020 and mid-2025, Strategy’s mNAV — enterprise value divided by the value of its Bitcoin — traded above 1.0. That premium lets the company issue shares, buy Bitcoin, and grow its value by more than the value of the new stock. Convincing the market it would never sell was the load-bearing part of the model.

With mNAV near 1.0, that arithmetic no longer works. Kendrick said Strategy is pivoting toward holding Bitcoin as backing for STRC, its perpetual preferred stock, which functions as a credit product.

The STRC feedback loop

STRC pays a 12% annual dividend, settled twice a month in cash, with the rate reset each month to keep the security near its $100 par value. It has about $10 billion notional outstanding, the largest of the instruments Strategy has deployed.

A negative feedback loop took hold once STRC broke from par, hitting an intraday low of $71.25 on June 26. The divergence began after the June 1 disclosure that Strategy had sold 32 BTC the prior week. STRC still trades near $90, according to Standard Chartered. The USD reserve for STRC dividends stands at $2.55 billion, or 17.4 months of coverage.

Hyundai’s ‘real world adoption of USDT’ cut transfers to 7 minutes: Details

South Korean automaker Hyundai is doubling down on stablecoins for internal transfers between its subsidiaries. 

During its testing stage, the automaker saw faster transfers between U.S and Mexico subsidiaries. Instead of the typical 4 hours or more for traditional interbank transfer methods, the firm said it took about 7 minutes to transfer Tether’s USDT between its two offices. 

Commenting on the test, Hyundai hailed stablecoin transfers as offering “overwhelming speed and superior stability” to conventional methods. The pilot involved Hyundai Motors Group-owned credit card firm Hyundai Card, Avalanche, Tether and payment integrator Axiym.

All about CleanSpark’s addition of 454 Bitcoin and what it meansCleanSpark, a publicly traded company, is in the news after adding another 454 Bitcoin [BTC] to its treasury. This addition has pushed its total stash to 13,924 BTC, worth $897.1 million.

In 2026, CleanSpark has sold 258 BTC and added 1171 BTC.

Its latest move came as CleanSpark’s stock price was trading at $12.89 at press time. The same has risen by about 28% in the year so far. For its part, Bitcoin was trading at $64,411.66 at the same time, on the back of a 42% decline this year. As it stands, the Governor and Executive Council of New Hampshire are reviewing a proposal that would permit a borrower connected to CleanSpark to purchase Bitcoin with up to $100 million in taxable revenue bonds.

CleanSpark is not the only company to add Bitcoin to its treasury recently though.In June, public companies added almost 9,000 Bitcoin worth approximately $525 million. The majority of this accumulation was made up of nearly 7,000 BTC from Strategy and Strive, respectively.

It is probable that both businesses used the proceeds from their digital credit instruments, SATA and STRC, to finance their acquisitions. While Strive bought 3,364 BTC, including a single 2,500 BTC purchase that was one of its largest to date, Strategy led the month with a net addition of 3,625 BTC despite selling 32 BTC.
