XRP ETF Gains Institutional Backing From Virginia and Florida Investment Advisors

Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo, a registered investment advisor (RIA) based in Orlando, Florida, has disclosed that it holds shares of the Franklin XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF).

In its latest 13F filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company reported holding 964 shares of the ETF, valued at around $11,000 at press time. The firm boasts $1.35-$1.4 billion in assets under management (AUM) and is currently ranked among the top 500 RIAs in the US and named to the Best Financial Advisory Firms list.

XRP ETFs attract institutional interest
A similar Virginia-based firm, Main Street Group, also disclosed XRP exposure. According to its Q2 2026 regulatory filing, the firm holds 5,261 shares (valued at roughly $58,292 at the time of writing) in the Canary XRP ETF.

Additional firms with exposure in various XRP ETFs include Larson Financial Group ($1.8 million), Q3 Asset Management ($430,000), and Hurley Capital ($135,000). These firms join more prominent players like Flow Traders, whose XRP ETF is worth $1.93 million and makes up the largest institutional XRP ETF portfolio.

While the amount of funds invested varies, the above filings indicate increased institutional interest in XRP ETFs. According to MarketBeat, institutional investors purchased over 160,000 XRP ETF shares in the last 24 months. In the past year, inflows into these investment vehicles have totaled $2.50 million with zero outflows.

Coin price is not reflective of ETF inflows
Despite rising institutional investment in XRP ETFs, the coin itself is down 62.16% over the past year, trading at $1.06. Investor anticipation of US Fed interest hikes to curb inflation has also caused a recent market downturn, with XRP down over 3% in the past day.

Bitcoin Price Prediction: $281 Million Flows Back Into Crypto ETFs This Week

Geopolitical tensions have once again rattled financial markets, but institutional investors are showing signs of returning to crypto, with particular interest in Crypto ETFs as a way to gain exposure. Bitcoin held above $62,500 while Ethereum traded near $1,700 despite fresh uncertainty after U.S. strikes on Iran and Tehran’s decision to close the Strait of Hormuz until further notice.

The steady price action, along with improving ETF flows, suggests large investors are continuing to build positions rather than exiting the market.

Crypto ETFs End 8-Week Outflow Streak

According to The Kobeissi Letter, crypto investment products attracted $281.8 million in net inflows last week, ending an eight-week streak of more than $7 billion in outflows.

Bitcoin funds accounted for $197.4 million, while Ethereum investment products added another $84.4 million. Even so, the recovery remains early. Total 12-month ETF inflows now stand at around $1 billion, far below the $10 billion recorded in April and the $12 billion peak seen in October 2025.

The report noted that buyers are beginning to return, but this is “buyers dipping a toe, not a full cycle turn yet.”

BlackRock Continues to Lead Bitcoin Demand

Institutional demand remained heavily concentrated in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT).

According to Farside Investors, IBIT attracted $291.9 million in fresh capital last week, more than offsetting outflows from Grayscale, ARK 21Shares, and Fidelity’s Bitcoin ETFs.

Bitcoin also held above $62,000 despite oil prices climbing 4–5% following Middle East tensions, highlighting the asset’s resilience during a period of broader macro uncertainty

Shiba Inu Holder Growth Sparks Controversy as Holder Count Surpasses 1.67M

A fresh controversy has emerged within the Shiba Inu ecosystem after a community figure alleged that the network’s recent surge in wallet addresses does not reflect genuine adoption.

The development follows a sharp increase in Shiba Inu’s holder count. Earlier this month, the figure also surpassed the 1.6 million milestone. Since July 4, SHIB has added more than 75,000 wallet addresses, pushing the total number of holders to 1,675,551 (1.67 million). 

At first glance, the rapid growth signals rising adoption. However, The Dark Shib argued that the increase stems from an automated distribution mechanism rather than new investors joining the ecosystem.

Analyst Questions SHIB Holder Count Growth
According to The Dark Shib, the activity originates from TheShibBull, a verified smart contract created by decentralized exchange WoofSwap. The analyst claimed that the contract generates new wallet addresses and sends them small amounts of SHIB, causing blockchain tracking platforms to recognize those addresses as token holders.

Specifically, Dark Shib alleged that the contract uses blockchain data, including block hashes, to generate random Ethereum addresses before distributing as little as 1 SHIB to hundreds of wallets in each transaction. 

As a result, the holder count increases even though the addresses do not belong to users who intentionally purchased SHIB, actively participate in the ecosystem, or contribute to network activity.

The analyst stressed that wallet count alone does not accurately measure adoption. According to him, inactive wallets holding negligible amounts of SHIB should not be treated as evidence of genuine community expansion.
