DeFi Development launches dashboard tracking Solana network data.DeFi Development Corp. has launched State of Solana, a public real-time research platform that tracks Solana market, network, staking, validator, yield and ecosystem data through a single dashboard.

According to a Wednesday press release from the Nasdaq-listed company, State of Solana was built to give investors, builders and ecosystem participants access to network-level data alongside $SOL price information, with more datasets, visualizations and research tools planned over time.

The platform currently tracks $SOL returns across several periods, including 24 hours, three months, year to date, one year and five years. It also provides interactive price history, daily and year-to-date network snapshots, cross-chain comparisons and yield opportunities available across Solana.

Live network information includes epoch progress, slot times, block height and throughput, while users can also monitor current and historical transactions per second. Staking yield, inflation, validator distribution, the Nakamoto coefficient, network uptime and upcoming Solana upgrades are included in the dashboard.

DeFi Development Chief Marketing Officer Pete Humiston said the company’s case for Solana goes beyond the market value of $SOL.

“We have spent a lot of time explaining why we believe Solana is one of the most important networks in crypto, but that thesis extends far beyond the price of $SOL,” Humiston said.

“State of Solana gives investors and ecosystem participants a way to see the underlying data for themselves,” he added.

Russian telecom giants prepare to accept digital ruble payments from Sept. 1
Russia’s MTS, Rostelecom and MegaFon have prepared to accept digital ruble payments from Sept. 1 as Russia begins the first mandatory stage of its nationwide central bank digital currency rollout.
Vedomosti reported that the three major telecommunications operators are preparing their payment systems for the launch, with MTS offering digital ruble transactions across services connected to MTS Pay while Rostelecom and MegaFon work on their own integrations.
MTS plans to make the payment option available without restricting it to particular products or services. Customers will initially be able to use digital rubles through the My MTS mobile app and the company’s online store, while other services using the MTS Pay payment module can also support the option.
For customers, the process will work much like Russia’s Faster Payments System. A user with a digital ruble account can select the digital ruble at checkout, choose a participating bank and approve the transaction through the bank’s interface, according to MTS.
The digital ruble account itself is held on the Bank of Russia’s platform, with commercial banks providing customers access through their apps. The central bank issues the CBDC and operates the underlying platform, while one digital ruble remains equal in value to one conventional ruble.
Rostelecom will begin digital ruble payments on its website
Rostelecom is completing technical work with what it described to Vedomosti as one of Russia’s largest banks, although the telecommunications company did not identify the lender.
At launch, customers will be able to use digital rubles for one-time payments made through Rostelecom’s official website. The operator plans to add the payment option to customer accounts later, extending the service beyond

The XRP user base continues to grow, with more than 8 million funded XRP accounts now recorded. The latest rich-list figures show how XRP is spread across millions of accounts while a much smaller group holds very large balances.

An account holding 2,151 XRP is now in the top 10% of XRP holders. The top 5% requires 7,503 XRP, while 44,896 XRP is enough to reach the top 1%. To enter the top 0.1%, an account needs about 275,420 XRP.

XRP Rich List Accounts Surpass 8 Million

More than 8 million XRP accounts are now funded. This does not mean 8 million individual people own XRP because one person or organization can control multiple accounts. Still, the figure shows that XRP is held across a large number of accounts.

The rich-list rankings also show a large gap between ordinary holders and the biggest accounts. While millions of accounts hold XRP, only a small number hold hundreds of thousands or millions of tokens.

Around 800 Accounts Hold More Than 3 Million XRP

The XRP rich list shows that roughly 800 accounts hold more than 3 million XRP. Crypto analyst Ramos said in a recent video that these balances represent XRP tokens rather than dollar values. Holding 3 million XRP places an account among the smallest percentage of XRP holders by balance.

He said the distribution highlights how concentrated large XRP holdings are among a relatively small number of accounts. Ramos also noted that he does not personally hold 3 million XRP, describing such a balance as a substantial amount.

The Top 1% Holds Around 40,000 XRP

According to the distribution data discussed by Ramos, around 40,000 XRP is enough to place a holder in approximately the top 1% of accounts. He said that continued crypto adoption could eventually increase demand for XRP and other major cryptocurrencies.
