A recent unemployment report from Anthropic sent chills down the spines of financial professionals.

Global crypto funds attracted a remarkable $1 billion in inflows last week, marking their third consecutive week of positive net flows and best performance in two months, while underscoring resilience amid geopolitical challenges.

Crypto Funds’ Positive Streak Extends
According to the latest CoinShares data, crypto funds drew $1.06 billion in inflows last week, continuing their positive net flows run for the third consecutive week and extending their best performance since the year started.

Notably, crypto Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) had a five-week run of negative net flows from January 19 to February 20 amid market weakness and broader negative sentiment. The investment products had cumulative outflows of $4 billion, registering their worst performance since the October 10 crash.

The US market experienced most of the negative net flows during this period, while Bitcoin-based ETPs saw the weakest performance among major cryptocurrencies, with over $3.80 billion in outflows.

However, US investors’ renewed demand for digital asset investment products since the end of February, particularly Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), has reduced the prior one-month outflows streak, bringing the three-week run of inflows to $2.62 billion.

Regionally, 96% of the inflows originated from the US, with Canada and Switzerland following with $19.4 million and $10.4 million, respectively. Hong Kong also attracted $23.1 million in inflows, marking the best performance since August 2025. In contrast, Germany recorded outflows of $17.1 million, its first negative net flows in 2026, according to CoinShares’ data.

Funds based on the flagship cryptocurrency showed the strongest performance this week, with $793 million in inflows. This accounts for 75% of total inflows, bringing BTC’s three-week inflows to $2

$XRP ($XRP) is trading just above a level heavily targeted by derivative traders, making it a critical zone for near-term price action.

The payments-focused cryptocurrency changed hands at around $1.50 at press time, placing just above a notable concentration of options activity at $1.40 on crypto exchange Deribit. $XRP is used by Ripple to facilitate cross-border transactions.

Options are derivatives contracts whose value is derived from an underlying asset, in this case $XRP. They give traders the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell $XRP at a specific price (known as the strike) before a set expiry date. Call options are typically used to bet on upside, while put options are used to hedge or speculate on downside.

As of writing, about $6.95 million worth of call option positions were open at the $1.40 strike, alongside $7.69 million in put positions at the same level. In total, that brings the value of outstanding or “open" contracts at this strike to roughly $14.6 million, or nearly 25% of all $XRP options open on the exchange. Most of this open interest in concentrated in the March 27 expiry.

CoinDesk reached out to Deribit for a comment on the same.

This kind of clustering at a single strike is unusual and typically signals that the market is approaching a key inflection point.

As expiry approaches, this level may act as a magnet or gravitational price zone. Market makers, and traders who sold options at $1.40 and are "short gamma" could dynamically hedge their exposure, potentially pulling the price toward the strike. This phenomenon is widely referred to as "pinning."

This concept is common in currency markets, where major currency pairs like EUR/USD often gravitate toward large strikes as expiry nears.

According to market analyst Ali Martinez, the critical level to watch is $0.304. This represents the upper boundary of the parallel channel. A sustained daily close above this resistance would signal a bullish breakout, confirming that the period of horizontal movement has concluded.
Price Prediction and Targets
If Cardano successfully breaches the $0.304 mark, technical projections point toward two primary upside targets. The first milestone is set at $0.338, representing a half-width extension of the current channel. Should bullish momentum persist, the secondary target lies at $0.376, marking a full-width breakout.
While the outlook remains optimistic, investors should monitor trading volume at the $0.304 level. Failure to break through could result in continued range-bound trading or a retest of support levels near $0.24. For now, the market remains fixated on the $0.304 ceiling as the gateway to ADA’s next rally.

A crypto analyst has revealed that Bitcoin (BTC) could be entering a cycle that looks very different from the one that led to the sharp 2022 downturn. The analyst’s chart review suggests that the current bull market is developing on a stronger foundation, reinforcing the possibility that future corrections may deviate from past cycle patterns.

Bitcoin Shows Deviation From 2022 Bear Cycle Patterns
According to a new technical analysis shared in an X post by pseudonymous analyst DorkChicken on March 14, Bitcoin is showing signs of a different market structure than the setup that led to the massive 2022 crash. The analyst explained that the current cycle is developing on stronger support levels, which could change the market’s trajectory and how it behaves during future corrections in the bear market.

The analyst’s accompanying chart shows Bitcoin on the two-week timeframe, highlighting several large support or consolidation zones that formed across multiple market cycles. One zone formed after the 2018 cycle top, another developed during the 2021 bull market, and a new range appears to be forming in the current cycle near the 2024 to 2026 price area.

DorkChicken pointed out that the 2022 bear market crash occurred after Bitcoin fell below $30,000, leaving very little historical support below. The analyst noted that at the time, because the structure below that level was “nothing but open air,” it exposed the market to a much deeper selloff.

In contrast, the current cycle shows a structure in which Bitcoin builds support step by step as the bull market progresses. The analyst’s chart suggests that instead of moving straight up and leaving gaps underneath, the price has been forming ranges that could act as support if the market corrects later in the cycle.

The battle within this bear flag is absolutely crucial, and will probably decide whether the $BTC price changes trend back to the upside, or whether another leg down will occur.

Strategy buys big, but $BTC rejected from top of bear flag

The recent news is that Michael Saylor’s Strategy has just bought big, to the tune of $1.57 billion, with the average price per BTC right at the top trendline of the bear flag. Can the bulls do Strategy a favour?

The 4-hour chart above shows that the $BTC price did pierce through the top of the bull flag, but this was short-lived, and sellers turned this hope into a rejection, leaving a decent-sized candle wick above the bear flag trendline to tell the tale.

Even so, the bulls have managed to continue this rally while short-term momentum indicators are signalling that the price is overbought. As things stand, the price is funnelling into a tightening space between the top of the bear flag above, and an ascending trendline below. The bear flag trendline is the critical boom or bust line here, and breaking and holding above it could potentially change the macro bear trend that Bitcoin has been in since its $126,000 all-time high.
