Can LDO sustain the breakout? 

The charts showed that LDO had printed a double bottom pattern, and price action had broken above the neckline at $0.3366. The altcoin has been trading between the neckline and the bottom at around $0.2725.

Staying above the neckline would suggest a potential market structure shift, putting the $0.68 to $0.70 zone as a target for bulls. The Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) peaked at 4.04 million LDO as of writing, which was the maximum buying pressure of the day.

However, a true shift would happen if LDO flipped the $0.33-$0.36 zone into support.

Nikita Bier, the head of product at X, has announced the platform’s second financial tool, Cashtags, after X Money. The tool will cater to a multitude of traditional and cryptocurrency traders and investors who move billions based on the information obtained from the platform.

The feature comes just hours after Bier teased it, saying crypto has had a “rough year” and that X meant to “fix it.”

Bier now illustrates how users can match their searches to relevant stocks or cryptocurrencies and execute trades instantly. For example, after searching for “Bitcoin,” Cashtags would present its real-time price movement chart, alongside relevant X posts on the coin.

X launches Cashtags for crypto and TradFi insights

Notably, X will initially launch Cashtags for iPhone users in the US and Canada. Cashtags for Canadians integrates Wealthsimple’s brokerage services, which are accessed via a button or by tapping on a ticker.

The “Everything App”

Bier concludes by noting that Cashtags is only the beginning and that X aims to be the best destination for both the crypto and TradFi communities.

Upon rebranding Twitter as X, owner Elon Musk voiced his ambition to make the platform an “everything app” that integrates social networking with a comprehensive financial system.

In line with this, X is now performing early public access for X Money – a money transmitting service developed in partnership with Visa.

Wall Street scraps $25K day trading rule — a shift toward crypto-style markets?

A major shift in U.S. market structure could reshape how retail traders access financial markets, with potential spillover effects for the crypto market.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has approved a proposal from Financial Industry Regulatory Authority to eliminate the long-standing $25,000 minimum equity requirement tied to “pattern day trader” accounts.

The rule, which has governed U.S. equity trading for years, required traders executing frequent intraday trades to maintain a minimum balance — effectively limiting active trading to higher-capital participants.

That requirement will now be replaced by a real-time, intraday margin system that assesses risk continuously rather than using fixed thresholds.

BlackRock's Q1 2026 earnings report marks a 17% YoY growth - Details

On the 14th of April, BlackRock released its Q1 2026 report, recording a net income (GAAP) of $2.2 billion. The number suggests the asset manager saw a surge of 17% year-over-year (YoY) growth.

The main eye-catcher was that BlackRock recorded $130 billion in inflows in those three months. This growth was supported by the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) ETF, “alongside active and private markets net inflows.”

Adding more insights on the same, Laurence D. Fink, Chairman and CEO of BlackRock, noted,  

Active equity is a growth area at BlackRock, driving $3 billion of net inflows. Private markets net inflows of $9 billion were led by private credit and infrastructure, where we have strong fundraising and deployment momentum
