Hong Kong’s Largest Cryptocurrency Exchange Is Listing the Much-Anticipated 
HashKey Exchange, one of Hong Kong’s largest licensed cryptocurrency exchanges, announced that it has listed Hyperliquid’s native token, $HYPE.
According to a statement by HashKey Holdings Limited, the company’s parent company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, $HYPE trading is now accessible on the platform as of today.
The exchange has also launched over-the-counter (OTC) trading services for $HYPE for professional investors. This allows investors to buy and sell the $HYPE/USD trading pair directly through the OTC market.

The announcement stated that deposit and withdrawal transactions are active via the HyperLiquidEVM network, and that OTC trading began on May 14th at 11:00 AM (UTC+3). It was also noted that the service would only be available to professional investors.

Hyperliquid stands out as a Layer-1 blockchain network developed with a focus on perpetual futures and spot trading, utilizing an on-chain order book infrastructure.

Similar to other leading cryptocurrencies, the $HYPE/USD 4-hour chart is bearish thanks to its recent poor performance.

$HYPE’s price broke and closed below the rising trendline earlier this week, losing 7% of its value in the last two days.

At the time of writing on Thursday, $HYPE is extending the correction, trading below $39.

If the bearish trend continues, the bears could push the price below the 200-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $37.88.

A daily candle close below the 200-day EMA would pave the way for a deeper correction towards the $36.09 support level in the near term.

Currently, Hyperliquid’s momentum indicators suggest a bearish outlook. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the 4-hour chart reads 33, approaching the oversold region.

Tezos has launched TzEL, a post-quantum privacy system for blockchain payments, on its testnet.

Speaking to Decrypt, Tezos co-founder Arthur Breitman emphasized the importance of prioritizing the treatment of quantum risk, while also criticizing some groups.

At this point, Breitman stated that some segments of the crypto industry are treating quantum computing like a conspiracy theory, ignoring a legitimate threat to blockchain privacy, and underestimating the real threats it poses.

Breitman stated that Tezos acted “urgently,” while some parts of the industry, in his opinion, remained indifferent to quantum threats.

According to Breitman, the quantum threat should be a very serious concern. This is because blockchain data is persistent. By its very nature, transactions and other data are stored publicly on the chain indefinitely. This creates the potential for what attackers call a “collect now, decrypt later” attack. In such a scenario, attackers collect blockchain data in the form of public keys and store them until quantum computers become powerful enough to break the encryption protecting them.
