On the daily chart, EMAs are firmly stacked higher, with price well above them: EMA20 206.95, EMA50 196.86, EMA200 180.49. This signals strong trend alignment and room for pullbacks without structural damage.

Daily RSI14 72.13 shows hot, overbought momentum, which elevates near-term shakeout risk even within an advance. Meanwhile, the daily MACD 7.93 sits over its signal at 6.47 with a positive histogram of 1.46, confirming upside momentum.

Bullish misses first-quarter revenue estimates as transaction revenue slipsBullish (BLSH), the crypto platform and parent company of CoinDesk, reported first-quarter adjusted revenue below analyst expectations as weaker digital asset trading activity early in the year weighed on earnings.

The company posted adjusted revenue of $92.8 million, compared with FactSet analyst estimates of $94.9 million.

Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) came in at $35.1 million, up from $13.2 million a year earlier, but missing expectations of $38 million. Bullish reported a net loss of $604.9 million, or $3.85 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $348.6 million, or $3.04 per share, a year earlier.

BLSH shares were down 7.9% in pre-market trading at $38.51.

Crypto markets struggled through much of the quarter as bitcoin and other digital assets pulled back from highs reached towards the end of last year. Lower prices weighed on trading activity across the industry, a key source of revenue for exchanges.

Coinbase (COIN) reported weaker-than-expected first-quarter results last week after softer crypto prices reduced trading volumes. The company posted a loss of $1.49 per share, compared with analyst expectations for a $0.27 profit, while revenue and transaction revenue both missed forecasts.

Bitcoin holds the distinction of being the original cryptocurrency and remains the most widely followed digital coin today. Its market capitalization is around $1.33 trillion, putting it well ahead of Ethereum—the second-largest cryptocurrency—which has about $233 billion in market value.

Put simply, Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency. Rather than being issued or managed by a central bank or government, it runs on a peer-to-peer network. That setup enables people to send money directly to one another without going through a traditional financial institution.
Many investors view Bitcoin as a possible shield against inflation or as another tool for diversifying their portfolios. Its growth over the last decade has been remarkable, frequently beating the performance of major stock market indices, which has helped fuel investors’ interest.

However, like most cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is known for sharp volatility and rapid changes in price.

Digital asset infrastructure company BitGo reported a wider first-quarter net loss as Bitcoin treasury mark-to-market losses and IPO-related expenses outweighed stronger client growth and a year-over-year jump in revenue.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $3.8 billion, up from $1.8 billion a year earlier, driven by higher digital asset trading activity and growing contributions from its stablecoin business, the company announced Wednesday. Revenue fell 38.7% from Q4 2025’s $6.2 billion, partly due to a shift in client trading from spot to derivatives, a product BitGo launched at the start of the quarter that generated roughly $3 billion in notional volume.

However, net loss widened to $60.7 million from $25.7 million in Q1 2025, hit by a $53.7 million non-cash loss tied to the declining value of the company’s Bitcoin treasury, as well as stock-based compensation from its recent IPO. BitGo said stock compensation costs are expected to normalize going forward.

Adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) swung to a loss of $1.7 million from a gain of $3.9 million a year ago, partly due to a $3 million in one-time legal and professional costs tied to the IPO.

On the platform side, client count grew 42% year-over-year to 5,569. These are institutions like hedge funds, exchanges, fintech companies and other businesses that plug into BitGo’s infrastructure. Users on the platform also grew to 1.2 million, up 7.3% year-over-year.Stablecoin-as-a-service revenue jumped 43.6% to $38.2 million, while staking revenue dropped 66.2% to $49.4 million amid lower token prices.

BitGo ended the quarter with $186.6 million in cash and held 2,449 Bitcoin valued at approximately $167.1 million.

BTGO shares slipped 1.09% in overnight trading to $11.78 after the earnings release, according to Yahoo! Finance.
