Индекс риска биткоина достиг нуля, «полностью обнулившись», сообщила во вторник компания Swissblock. Этот показатель является запатентованным индикатором, измеряющим общий уровень риска на рынке биткоина. По сути, он измеряет относительный баланс между давлением продавцов и покупателей, а также то, насколько «рискованно» держать или покупать $BTC.

Swissblock отметила, что это сигнализирует о снижении давления продавцов, завершении фазы дна (но еще не расширении) и «стабилизации в рамках режима низкого риска».

«Исторически эти зоны отмечают, где давление продавцов полностью исчерпано и может начаться восстановление бычьей структуры».

Аналитик CryptoQuant «Darkfost» отметил, что показатель «уничтоженных дней монет» (CDD) биткоина «рухнул», что сигнализирует о снижении активности долгосрочных держателей.

Why this ex-Solana exec is using a Wall Street trick to level the playing field in DeFi


Austin Federa quit as the Solana Foundation's head of strategy in 2024 to tackle what he saw as unfairness in the crypto trading environment. Eighteen months later, his company, DoubleZero, says it's ready.

DoubleZero aims to eliminate proximity to an exchange's servers as a competitive advantage for traders. The private fiber network removes latency, the time it takes for an order to reach the platform from a trader's desk, as a factor and introduces a more equitable environment even though regulators — and traders — aren't asking for it yet.

The problem, Federa says, is that crypto conflates decentralized with distributed. DeFi protocols are decentralized by virtue of their open-source code and permissionless validator sets, but when milliseconds determine who wins a trade, the laws of physics push validators to cluster in the same data centers anyway. On platforms like Hyperliquid, for example, Tokyo-based traders enjoy a roughly 200-millisecond edge over rivals abroad.

"Hyperliquid may be a decentralized system from a governance and user perspective, but it is not a distributed system," Federa said in an interview with CoinDesk. "It is still co-located in the same environment, even if it's run by multiple different entities."

It's a problem traditional finance has already faced. When the New York Stock Exchange developed its Mahwah, New Jersey data center over a decade ago, it engineered cable-length equalization to within a nanosecond because asymmetric access was bad for business, not because regulators required it. Simply, traders who felt disadvantaged would route their orders elsewhere.

The simple answer is this — the market is reacting to fear, not a collapse in fundamentals.
Ethereum is currently stuck in a broader risk-off environment. Macro conditions are still heavy: a stronger U.S. dollar, delayed expectations for Fed rate cuts, sticky inflation concerns, and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty. In this kind of environment, investors tend to reduce risk exposure, and capital often rotates toward “safer” assets. Bitcoin has been the clear winner of that rotation, with BTC dominance staying elevated and ETH lagging behind.
Ethereum ETFs haven’t helped sentiment either. After early hype, we’ve seen periods of net outflows and inconsistent demand, with large players actively rebalancing positions. Add in whale movements and on-chain transfers, and retail traders are left feeling uncertain and defensive.
At the same time, structural changes in the ecosystem are playing a role. Layer 2 growth has been a massive success for scalability, but it has also shifted activity away from Ethereum mainnet, reducing fee revenue and weakening the burn mechanism that previously supported ETH’s deflationary narrative. Combine that with periodic leverage liquidations, and you get continuous downward pressure on price.
The result? Charts look weak, sentiment feels heavy, and confidence is shaken.
But here’s the part that matters most:
Ethereum’s fundamentals are still intact — and in many areas, improving.
On-chain activity recently surged ~41% week-over-week
DeFi total value locked remains above $55B
Ethereum still dominates roughly 57% of DeFi market share
Active users, staking participation, and real usage continue to grow
In other words, usage is not disappearing — it’s expanding quietly beneath the surface.
Meanwhile, upcoming upgrades (like Glamsterdam) continue to focus on scaling, efficiency, and long-term network strength.
