Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest has added nearly $32.5 million worth of SpaceX shares to four of its exchange-traded funds after the stock fell more than 16% from its recent highs.

Ark Invest’s daily trading disclosure for Monday showed the firm purchased 210,121 shares of SpaceX ticker SPCX across its ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF (ARKQ), ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and ARK Space Exploration & Innovation ETF (ARKX). Based on SpaceX’s closing price of $154.60, the purchases were worth about $32.48 million.

SpaceX shares closed down 16.43% on Monday. The stock reached an intraday peak of $225.64 on June 16 after debuting on Nasdaq at $150 per share on June 12. By Monday’s close, most of those gains had disappeared, with the stock trading near $154.60, based on Yahoo Finance market data.

Ark’s latest holdings disclosure placed SpaceX among the firm’s largest positions. The stock accounted for 4.46% of ARKK, representing about $313.7 million in assets. SpaceX ranked as the fourth-largest holding in ARKQ, the largest holding in ARKX, and the tenth-largest holding in ARKW.

Trump Signs Quantum Orders Amid Bitcoin Risk

Trump signed two executive orders to speed up US quantum computing and post-quantum encryption, as experts warn Bitcoin wallets face future risk.

President Donald Trump signed two executive orders on Monday. The orders aim to grow US quantum computing power and speed up the shift to encryption that can resist quantum attacks.

The push is tied to what experts call "Q-Day." This is the point when quantum computers could become strong enough to break the encryption that protects government systems and cryptocurrency wallets.
The first order calls for building a quantum computer the administration describes as scientifically relevant by 2028. It also requires the Commerce, Energy, and Defense Departments, along with NASA, to create plans for quantum sensors and networking tools within five years.

A senior White House official said the Department of Energy will set the technical specifications for the system. The plan is to place it at a national laboratory or another Department of Energy facility, as a step toward larger quantum systems in the future.

White House science adviser Michael Kratsios said quantum technology remains a top priority for national security and the economy. He said Trump signed the National Quantum Initiative Act during his first term, doubled federal funding for quantum research, and launched five national quantum research institutes.

The second order moves the federal deadline for adopting post-quantum cryptography to December 2031. That is four years earlier than the 2035 target set under a previous security memorandum.

The order also directs the National Institute of Standards and Technology to run a pilot project to transition federal systems by the end of 2027. ......

Daily Active Addresses reached 5,057 on June 18. That represented the highest reading since November 2025. Activity accelerated well beyond previous spikes observed this year.

The metric tracks direct interaction across the protocol ecosystem. Users may transact, stake, transfer assets, or access services. Rising activity generally reflects broader participation across network applications.

Throughout previous months, address growth remained relatively stable. However, the latest surge changed that trend noticeably. The increase placed Ethena among closely watched DeFi protocols.

New Wallet Creation Signals User Expansion

Network Growth recorded another major development during the same period. Data showed 2,968 newly created ENA wallets on June 18. That marked the strongest wallet creation event since launch.

New wallet activity often reflects fresh user onboarding. Existing holders alone cannot generate this type of growth. As a result, analysts frequently monitor the metric closely.

One thing I’ve come to realize after spending years in crypto is that we’re obsessed with momentum. That includes me. Maybe it’s because many of us entered the space through stories of life-changing gains. Maybe it’s because crypto moves at a pace unlike any other industry. Or maybe it’s simply because we’ve been conditioned to measure success through charts, market caps, user growth, and whatever narrative happens to be dominating the conversation at the time.

Regardless of the reason, I’ve done some reflection and come to realize that we should start valuing longevity more than temporary momentum.

Before you say that’s coping, hear me out.

Momentum Is Easy To See

The thing about momentum is that it’s impossible to miss. When a project has momentum, everyone knows it. User numbers are growing, developers are joining, influencers are talking about it, and the charts are usually moving in the right direction. Momentum creates excitement. It creates optimism. It creates the feeling that you’re part of something important and growing. That’s one of the reasons we value it so much. It’s visible, measurable, and constantly reinforced by the people around us.

Longevity, on the other hand, is much harder to appreciate. Not many get excited because a blockchain successfully completed another protocol upgrade. Very few rush to social media because a team improved developer tooling or because a governance process worked exactly as intended. These things often happen quietly in the background, receiving little attention outside of the people directly involved. Yet over time, they become part of the foundation that allows an ecosystem to continue evolving long after the initial excitement has faded.
