$LAB has extended its rally to a sixth consecutive day, climbing about 57% over the past week as whale buying, technical momentum, and renewed interest in the project's ecosystem pushed the token back toward the $14 level.

Data from CoinGecko showed $LAB trading near $13.91 on June 17, up nearly 40% over the past 24 hours and more than 57% over the previous seven days.

The move comes after the token spent much of early June under pressure following a steep correction from its June 2 all-time high of $27.30.

According to market commentator Alastar, whale wallets added roughly $540,000 in long positions within an hour as $LAB continued its advance.

Data shared by the trader showed 129 whale long positions against 85 short positions, with total long exposure reaching $27.58 million compared with $10.58 million in short exposure.

The same data showed a whale long-to-short ratio of 260.67%, while net whale buying volume during the previous hour stood near $490,000 against approximately $179,000 in net selling.

Alastar described the $13 region as a key level to monitor, noting that larger holders could begin reducing positions around that area because many long positions were already sitting on substantial unrealised profits.

Recent buying activity arrived after $LAB successfully defended support between $9 and $10, a zone that attracted dip buyers after weeks of selling pressure.

Market participants also closed bearish positions as momentum indicators improved, helping fuel a rapid recovery from the June lows.

Speculative interest around the project has also remained active.

$LAB operates as a multi-chain AI trading terminal connecting Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain, while community discussions have focused on the rollout of its mobile application and ongoing work tied to prediction market features.

Bitcoin Soars Past $65,000 As Whales Withdraw Almost 12,000 BTC

Bitcoin (BTC) climbed back above $65,000, briefly reaching $67,210 Monday, its highest level since early June.

Notably, the key catalyst was unexpected geopolitical developments that boosted global risk appetite, with US President Donald Trump saying progress had been made in Middle East negotiations.

“The deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is complete,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding that he had authorized the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of a US naval blockade.

The announcement triggered a broader market response, with oil prices falling by about 5% as fears of supply disruption eased. Risk assets rallied, and crypto markets quickly followed.

Within 24 hours, total crypto market capitalization rose more than 2% to around $2.24 trillion, reflecting renewed investor demand for risk exposure.

On-chain data provided stronger confirmation of the rally’s momentum. CryptoQuant analysts reported a clear “whale supply U-turn,” showing that large holders have shifted from selling to accumulation.

Analyst Woominkyu noted that selling pressure from long-term holders has effectively ended.

“Dormant Selling Ends: Inflow CDD plunged from 2.16M to near-zero (33K), showing long-term whale dumping has completely stopped,” the analyst said.

He added that whales aggressively absorbed liquidity at the $61,400 bottom, with the Exchange Whale Ratio surging to 62.3%, indicating heavy accumulation during the dip.
Notably, more than 11,400 BTC, worth about $700 million, was withdrawn from exchanges and moved into cold storage during the rebound. This sharp decline in exchange reserves is typically seen as a sign of long-term holding and reduced immediate selling pressure.

The current selling pressure has surpassed the 2022 market crash and the subsequent bear market. In 2026, altcoin holders are no longer willing to wait for years for an eventual recovery.

The current selling trend, excluding Ethereum, affects legacy assets, some VC-backed tokens, and platforms with no significant fee activity. As Cryptopolitan reported, new batches of altcoins outperformed assets from previous market cycles.

As of June 17, the altcoin season index sits at 49 points, in neutral territory between $BTC dominance and interest in other assets. Among the top 100 assets, only 36 have net gains in the past three months, based on CoinMarketCap data.

Altcoins have also abandoned the rise of narratives, and instead, liquidity concentrates with specific assets and platforms. Real activity, high daily fees, or signs of liquidity inflows are the main drivers of value in altcoin platforms.

Crypto PAC-backed Barry Moore wins Alabama GOP Senate runoffBarry Moore won Alabama’s Republican Senate runoff after more than $12 million in pro-crypto PAC support helped carry his campaign into the November general election.

The race now becomes one of its clearest Senate bets this year.

The result gives Fairshake-linked groups another win in the 2026 primary season. Moore defeated former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson in the race to replace Senator Tommy Tuberville, who is running for Alabama governor.

Crypto PAC spending pays off in Alabama
Unofficial results from the Alabama Secretary of State showed Moore with 55.80% of the vote, compared with 44.20% for Hudson. All 67 counties had reported results as of late Tuesday.

Moore will face Democrat Everett Wess in November. Alabama remains a strongly Republican state, which gives Moore a favorable path after winning the GOP nomination.

Defend American Jobs, a Republican super PAC tied to Fairshake, spent heavily to support Moore. The group reported $7.4 million in media spending before the May 20 primary and another $4.7 million before the runoff.

Federal Election Commission records list Defend American Jobs as an active independent expenditure-only super PAC. The committee cannot coordinate directly with campaigns, but it can spend on media and ads.

Fairshake spokesman Geoff Vetter said “our biggest spend of the cycle” produced another pro-innovation Senate candidate. He also said the network still has nearly $150 million in cash as it keeps building a larger pro-crypto caucus
