Crypto wallet Xaman announces temporary outage, suspends XRP trading

Xaman, a self-hosted crypto wallet that supports XRP and Xahahu, recently announced that its wallet may be temporarily out of service due to a surge in demand and activity. Since the summer of 2024, user activity on the Xaman wallet has increased by 250%, and this growth trend continues in 2025.

Xaman Temporary Outage: Rising XRP Demand and Usage

As of December 2024, Xaman had more than 212,000 weekly active users and has been growing steadily since then. In the first quarter of 2025, the crypto wallet held more than $1 billion in XRP, indicating that people's interest in XRP is heating up again.

Due to the surge in activity, the Xaman wallet is currently temporarily out of service and users are unable to access services or conduct transactions.

Xaman has confirmed this issue on the X platform and assured users that the platform is actively addressing it.  The statement read: "We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and we will keep you informed of progress."
