Deloitte absorbs Blocknative team as crypto infra firm winds down



Deloitte has acquired Web3 infrastructure company Blocknative in a talent-focused deal that will see the startup wind down its APIs and gas oracle network next month, even as the Big Four firm deepens its push into crypto consulting.

According to The Block, Deloitte announced on Tuesday that it had acquired Blocknative via what it described as a “talent acquisition-focused merger.” The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Deloitte said the Blocknative team will now “focus on driving Web3 innovation within Deloitte’s client ecosystem,” plugging its engineers and product staff into the firm’s existing blockchain and digital-assets practice. At the same time, Blocknative’s own infrastructure is being switched off: a banner on the company’s website tells users that the startup “is gradually ceasing operations,” and that its transaction APIs and Gas Network services will be wound down, with support expected only until June 19.

Blocknative’s mempool and gas tooling goes dark
Founded in 2018, Blocknative built its reputation as a specialist in real-time mempool monitoring, gas-fee prediction and transaction management for Ethereum and other EVM chains. Its core products included APIs and SDKs that let wallets, protocols and traders subscribe to pending transactions, simulate execution, and dynamically adjust gas prices to improve inclusion odds and reduce failed transactions. Over time, the company expanded into a full Gas Network, a decentralized oracle system that delivered real-time gas fee estimates across more than 40 networks, including Ethereum mainnet, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Base and others, and a browser-based Gas Estimator extension widely used by power users.

HTXSquare: Global Markets After Trump China Visit

Dogecoin is testing the key 10-cent level after a rejection from weekly Fibonacci resistance. At the same time, another long-term chart shows a rounded recovery setup, with $0.278 as the first major breakout target before any move toward $1Dogecoin price is pulling back after hitting the 0.618 Fibonacci level near $0.11825 on the weekly chart shared by Surf on X.

The $DOGE chart shows price moved higher from the lower support zone near $0.08063, which marks the 0.786 Fib level. After that bounce, Dogecoin climbed toward the 0.618 Fib resistance but failed to hold above it.

$DOGE is now trading near $0.10429, close to the key $0.10 level. Surf marked this area as the main level to watch after the recent correction.

The chart shows the $0.10 zone has acted as a major mid-range level before. If Dogecoin holds above it, the current move can still look like a healthy pullback after the Fib rejection.

However, a weekly close below $0.10 would weaken the setup. It would bring the lower Fib support near $0.08063 back into focus.

The descending trendline from the previous highs has already been broken. That gives bulls some structure, but $DOGE still needs to reclaim the $0.11825 level to show stronger upside.

For now, Dogecoin remains between two important areas. The $0.10 level is short-term support, while $0.11825 is the next resistance level $DOGE needs to clear.

Dogecoin is forming a rounded recovery setup on the weekly Coinbase chart shared by Celal Kucuker on X, with the first major upside target marked near $0.27855.

The $DOGE/$USDC chart shows price holding above the lower support zone near $0.08779. This area acts as the base of the current structure after Dogecoin’s long decline from its previous highs.

Tokenized real-world assets climb to $65 billion as institutions deepen blockchain push
Real-world tokenized assets have hit around $65 billion, an increase of 44% compared to January, amid the increasing trend by traditional finance companies to put their money, bonds, and cash products on blockchain platforms.

As Cryptopolitan reported in January, on-chain RWAs surged 232% through 2025, powered by BlackRock’s BUIDL fund crossing $1 billion and Treasury-backed products from Ondo Finance and Franklin Templeton.

The 2026 pace has not matched that rate. The market grew from roughly $100 million in 2021 to over $60 billion today, per The Block, with tokenized US Treasuries alone reaching $14 billion as of May.

Five networks splitting the market

Ethereum accounts for about one-third of tokenized assets, backed by BlackRock’s BUIDL fund that has surpassed the $2 billion mark and has diversified into multiple chains.

Provenance Blockchain accounts for roughly 27%, driven mostly by Figure Lending and mortgage-related issuance. BNB Chain, XRP Ledger, and Solana each sit near 6%.

The Solana RWA market increased by 43% to reach $2.01 billion during Q1, according to a Messari report. In addition, Solana generated $342.2 million worth of on-chain economic activity. Franklin Templeton extended its FOBXX government money market fund to the Stellar and Polygon blockchains.

Ondo Finance owns 60% of the tokenized equity market with $557 million across 230 assets in eight different categories, according to rwa.xyz data.

According to a research note summarized by CoinMarketCap Academy and other outlets, JPMorgan analysts led by managing director Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou argue that Ethereum ($ETH) and the broader altcoin market “may continue to underperform Bitcoin ($BTC)” unless there is “meaningful improvement” in network activity, decentralized finance (DeFi) adoption and real‑world applications. The bank traces the current divergence back to the October 2025 deleveraging, when a sharp, geopolitics‑driven selloff triggered heavy liquidations in $ETH products relative to $BTC, particularly among systematic and crypto‑native traders. While markets have since stabilized, the analysts say $ETH has failed to fully regain lost ground either in price terms or in key institutional flow metrics.

JPMorgan highlights spot ETF flows as one of the clearest signs of that gap. The bank estimates that spot Bitcoin ETFs have now recovered roughly two‑thirds of the outflows they suffered during the October 2025 drawdown, while spot ether ETFs have only clawed back about one‑third of their redemptions over the same period. Futures positioning at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) tells a similar story: institutional Bitcoin exposure on regulated futures has “nearly fully restored” to pre‑selloff levels, but $ETH futures open interest and net long positioning remain well below earlier peaks. Momentum‑driven players such as commodity trading advisors and quant funds are described as “slightly underweight” both assets, but the underweight is more pronounced in $ETH, reflecting the heavier deleveraging it endured last October.
