Meta’s model does not rely on a single catalyst. It stacks 4, all moving simultaneously. The post-halving supply crunch is already in effect, reducing new BTC issuance at the exact moment spot ETF inflows are pulling coins off exchanges at scale.

Layer corporate treasury adoption, 401k integration, and sovereign wealth fund positioning on top of that, and you have a demand profile that is structurally different from any previous cycle.

The final piece is macro: rate cuts resuming means global liquidity is expanding again, and Bitcoin has historically front-run liquidity cycles hard.

Meta frames all of this under the digital gold narrative, fully reclaimed, which means BTC is no longer competing with risk assets for capital; it is competing with gold for reserve allocation.

That is a different game entirely, and the AI thinks the trade looks like a $180,000 to $250,000 range when it plays out.

The bear case is tight but credible. Sticky inflation keeping the Fed hawkish longer than expected, a harsh regulatory move on exchanges, or a macro credit shock could trigger forced deleveraging across leveraged positions.

Meta puts the downside retest zone at $65,000 to $80,000 in that scenario, which is actually not that far from where BTC USD price sits right now. The floor is closer to the ceiling than the uncomfortable truth sitting underneath this prediction.

According to blockchain analytics platform Arkham, an Ethereum Foundation-tagged wallet initiated the withdrawal of 21,270 ETH on Monday, an amount worth nearly $50 million at current prices. The transaction moved the funds out of Lido’s liquid staking system and into Ethereum’s withdrawal queue, where staked ETH remains locked until the unstaking process is completed. Under Ethereum’s proof-of-stake system, validators stake ETH on the Beacon Chain to help secure the network and receive yield in return. Once an unstaking request is submitted through Lido, holders receive a withdrawal claim before the ETH becomes redeemable after the queue clears. Earlier in late April, the foundation unstaked 17,035 ETH shortly after approaching its internal target of roughly 70,000 staked ETH. Arkham data at the time showed the organization depositing wrapped staked ETH into Lido’s unstETH contract, though the foundation did not publicly explain the reason behind the move. Questions around treasury activity intensified after the nonprofit later sold 10,000 ETH to BitMine in an over-the-counter transaction completed on May 1. Base, Coinbase’s Ethereum layer-2 network, has processed over 167 million transactions in agentic economies, making it one of the most active L2s in the ecosystem.

For CADD, launching on Base makes strategic sense. The network offers lower transaction costs than Ethereum mainnet while maintaining the security guarantees of Ethereum’s base layer. For a stablecoin designed to facilitate everyday transactions and 24/7 trade settlements, keeping fees low isn’t optional.
