Dogecoin is trading near the 0.618 Fibonacci level on the weekly chart, where price is facing resistance around $0.11799.

The chart shared by Surf shows $DOGE trading near $0.10854 after rebounding from the lower support area around $0.08042. That lower level matches the 0.786 Fibonacci zone, which also acted as support during the recent correction.

Dogecoin has formed a similar structure before. In 2024, $DOGE bounced from a comparable support area, broke above a descending trendline, and later started a larger move higher. The current chart shows another rebound from the same type of setup, with price now testing the next resistance area.

The 0.618 Fib level remains the main barrier. $DOGE needs a clear weekly move above $0.11799 to confirm stronger continuation. If buyers push price through that level, the chart could open the way toward the next visible resistance zones near $0.14 and $0.17.

Judge Lewis Kaplan rejected Sam Bankman-Fried's request for a new trial, dismissing his arguments as
"conspiratorial." A group of 20 victims from five countries filed a lawsuit for $525 million against Fenwick & West LLP, one of Silicon Valley's most influential law firms, accusing it of having actively facilitated the FT fraud.
The lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and names six attorneys individually as defendants. The plaintiffs allege that they lost their savings when FTX collapsed in November 2022, and argue that Fenwick's involvement gave the exchange an appearance of legitimacy that prevented them from withdrawing their funds in time.
The Cover-Up from Within The core of the lawsuit is the testimony of Nishad Singh, former head of engineering at FTX, who pleaded guilty to fraud charges and testified at the criminal trial against Sam Bankman-Fried. Singh stated that he directly communicated to Fenwick attorneys that client funds were being misused, and that the firm, rather than distancing itself, provided advice on how to conceal it.
The lawsuit also alleges that Fenwick incorporated North Dimension Inc., a shell company in Delaware that posed as an electronics retailer but channeled more than $3 billion in stolen funds. The firm also allegedly implemented the auto-delete message policy on Signal that, according to federal prosecutors, allowed the fraud to remain off the radar of regulators and investigators. Bitcoin has one level left before macro pressure opens the path to $75k as Treasury yields extend two-day correction

Bitcoin has moved from a failed push above $82,000 to a test of the $78,000 support zone, as rising US Treasury yields and inflation fears continue to pressure risk assets.

Bitcoin touched $77,711 intraday before recovering to near $78,225, spending a second consecutive session under macro stress as US Treasury yields held near multi-month highs.

The 10-year yield reached 4.599%, while the 30-year climbed 11.8 basis points to 5.131%, its highest level since May 2025. BTC is down 3.9% from its May 15 opening above $81,000, with the same move pulling stocks and bonds lower alongside it.

The $77,700-$78,000 zone, already the next support shelf when BTC failed below $82,000, now carries the full weight of that macro test.

As a non-yielding asset, BTC now competes directly with a Treasury complex paying 4.5%-5.1%, and a rate floor at those levels raises the opportunity cost of holding it.

K33 data put Bitcoin's 30-day correlation with Nasdaq futures above 0.7, and BTC's beta to equity drawdowns tends to rise when Nasdaq sells hard.

Both channels are active in the current sell-off, and the macro backdrop leaves the Fed little room to ease either. April CPI accelerated to 3.8% year over year, up from 3.3% in March, while core CPI held at 2.8% and the energy index climbed 17.9% over the prior 12 months.

WTI settled at $105.42 on May 15, up 4.2% on the day and 11.33% over the month, while Brent reached $109.26, up 3.35%.

Trading Economics models Brent at $111.28 by quarter-end, and HSBC lifted its 2026 Brent forecast to $95 while modeling $110 average Brent if a supply deal arrives only toward late summer.

Downside pressure stemming from concerns over US government bonds continued, with the US-Iran war also at the forefront of traders’ minds.

Iran appeared to be pressing ahead with a toll system for transit through the Strait of Hormuz — the epicenter of a global oil-supply squeeze — while keeping US traffic out.

As reported by trading resource The Kobeissi Letter among others, Hormuz would reportedly “remain closed to the operators of Project Freedom."

On Friday, analysis from Mosaic Asset Company spelled out the problems of the current geopolitical and macroeconomic climate for risk assets.

“The prospect for another inflation wave is lining up with similarities to the surge in price levels into mid-2022,” it wrote in its latest Mosaic Chart Alerts blog post.

“Disrupted supply chains from last year’s trade war, impact of war on energy markets, and stimulus via large federal budget deficits are coming together at the same time.”

The setup mathematically breaks down as follows: the current Dogecoin price at $0.11126 is holding above the mid-band, the target remains the upper band at $0.13901, and movement toward the upper boundary opens a direct path to approximately 25%-27% upside. At the same time, the key long-term protection level for buyers remains the lower Bollinger Band, currently positioned at $0.07142.Supporting the technical picture are institutional flow data.
