HTX to Adjust Position Limit Unit for Multi-Assets Collateral Mode and Launch New Feature of Auto Position Limit Increase

Dear HTX Users,
To further enhance your futures trading experience with the Multi-Assets Collateral mode, HTX will make the following optimizations effective on November 25, 2025, at 1:00 (UTC):
I. Adjustment of Position Limit Unit
The position limit unit for futures trading in the Multi-Assets Collateral mode will be changed from "cont" to "position notional value (USDT)," aligning with the Single-Asset Collateral mode for easier understanding and calculation of position limits.
See API updates below:
/v5/market/risk/limit (Get futures limits): Adds the new request and return parameter of "volume_unit" (position unit).
/v5/position/risk/limit (Get position limits): Adds the new return parameter of "volume_unit" (position unit).
II. Launch of Auto Position Limit Increase Feature
The Multi-Assets Collateral mode will support the auto position limit increase feature, enhancing operational flexibility. After switching your collateral mode to Multi-Assets Collateral, you can apply to increase your position limits for the mode as follows:
1. Portal
[App] Go to the Futures page, tap "..." in the upper right corner, find the Feature tab, and then choose Increase Position Limit.
[Web] Go to the USDT-M Futures trading page, click the settings icon in the upper right corner, find the Trading Preferences tab, and then choose Increase Position Limit.
2. Auto-increasing your position limit is subject to certain conditions. The trading pairs for which you can apply for an increase are displayed on the application page.
Additionally, to avoid any impact on your positions and orders, the two updates will be carried out according to the following process. Please read carefully:
1. After the optimization begins, if you are currently using the Multi-Assets Collateral mode, the platform will change the position limit unit for this mode and simultaneously enable the auto position limit increase feature, provided there are no open positions and no pending orders under this mode in your account. If you still hold open positions or pending orders under the Multi-Assets Collateral mode in your Futures account before 03:00 (UTC) on December 31, 2025, the platform will wait until both your positions and orders are fully cleared before proceeding with the optimization.
If you are using the Single-Asset Collateral mode, your positions and orders (if any) will not be affected by the optimizations.
2. After the update is completed, you can view the new unit (USDT) via the following methods:
[App] Go to the Futures page, tap "..." in the upper right corner, find the Data tab, choose Trading Limit, and then slide to view Multi Collateral Position Tiers.
[Web] Click Futures in the navigation bar, find Futures Information, click Trading Limit, and then view Multi Collateral Position Tiers.
For API Users: The unit for the "volume_unit" parameter returned by the /v5/market/risk/limit or /v5/position/risk/limit interface will be updated to USDT.
3. If your account does not complete the optimization by December 31, 2025, at 03:00 (UTC), the platform will perform a forced update. During this forced update, however, your existing positions and orders will not be liquidated or canceled.
4. During the forced update, your positions in the Multi-Assets Collateral mode might face increased liquidation risk, due to potential changes in the maintenance margin ratio tiers. It is strongly advised to manage your positions and orders proactively before the update. Users will be responsible for any losses incurred.
5. Should the forced update schedule change, the platform will issue a separate announcement in advance.
