В Комитете госконтроля Белоруссии сообщили о налаживании эффективного механизма ареста и конфискации криптовалют

В Белоруссии ведутся централизованные реестры криптокошельков, используемых для получения преступного дохода, сообщил председатель Комитета государственного контроля (КГК) Василий Герасимов, выступая на пленарном заседании Евразийской группы (ЕАГ) по противодействию отмыванию преступных доходов и финансированию терроризма, которое проходит 27 ноября в Минске.

Герасимов рассказал, что Белоруссия готовится к оценке ФАТФ (Группа разработки финансовых мер борьбы с отмыванием денег) и продолжает дорабатывать антиотмывочные правила, передает Sрutnik. В республике внедряются новые механизмы финансовых расследований и оперативного выявление преступных доходов, сказал глава КГК.

Особое внимание уделяется регулированию цифровых активов. По словам Герасимова, уже налажен эффективный механизм ареста и конфискации криптовалют, также урегулировано налогообложении операций с ними и другие меры, обеспечивающие прозрачность сферы цифровых активов.

Заседание проводится в рамках пленарной недели ЕАГ, начавшейся 24 ноября. Сообщается, что в обсуждениях вопросов ПОД/ФТ участвуют более 300 представителей государственных и правоохранительных органов, подразделений финансовых разведок, частного сектора и экспертов из 18 стран.

В середине октября Нацбанк Белоруссии принял решение создать рабочую группу по борьбе с незаконным оборотом криптовалют. Основной задачей было названо предотвращение несанкционированных платежных операций и вывода похищенных денежных средств за границу через резидентов.

Борьба с этим ведется уже больше года. В сентябре 2024 года в Белоруссии запретили покупать и продавать криптовалюты вне белорусских криптоплощадок физлицам и ИП-резидентам Парка высоких технологий (ПВТ, специальный налогово-правовой режим, в рамках которого работают участники крипторынка).
