В 2024 году мессенджер Telegram предоставил по запросам властей США данные о 2253 пользователях. Об этом сообщает 404 Media со ссылкой на бота Transparency Report.

Согласно отчету, с 1 января по 30 сентября 2024 года платформа удовлетворила 14 запросов на предоставление IP-адресов и/или номеров телефонов из США, что затронуло 108 пользователей. В общей сложности за весь 2024 год власти страны потребовали раскрытия информации, касающейся 2253 пользователей

Данные указывают на значительный рост количества обработанных обращений в период с октября по декабрь.

При этом за первые девять месяцев 2024 года мессенджер не удовлетворил ни одного запроса из РФ и Украины.

Ранее основатель Telegram Павел Дуров уже приводил статистику юридических обращений из ряда стран на раскрытие пользовательских данных.

Напомним, в августе 2024 года власти Франции выдвинули в отношении Дурова ряд предварительных обвинений в том, что мессенджер якобы не смог справиться с предполагаемой преступностью на платформе.

Бизнесмена взяли под судебный контроль с залогом €5 млн и обязательством появляться в полиции два раза в неделю. Ему запрещено покидать территорию Франции до марта 2025 года.
