В Абхазии отключили интернет для борьбы с майнингом

10 декабря с 00:00 до 07:00 интернет-провайдеры Абхазии по требованию властей отключили интернет на всей территории республики в целях противодействия нелегальному майнингу. Об этом сообщает «Интерфакс».

В правительстве создан штаб по обеспечению энергобезопасности региона. Гендиректор компании «Черноморэнерго» Тимур Джинджолия на заседании штаба сообщил, что действующие в Абхазии майнинг-фермы потребляют 40-45 МВт мощности или более 350 млн кВт⋅ч в год.

«Это половина и даже чуть больше нашего дефицита, который сейчас складывается. Даже в такой тяжелой ситуации продолжается незаконный майнинг, что еще больше усугубляет кризис, из-за которого сегодня страдает все население страны», — добавил Джинджолия.

Власти республики уже приостановили на неделю занятия в школах и детских садах. С 9 декабря электричество подают дважды в дневное время на два часа 20 минут.

До конца дня будет принято решение о необходимости введения режима ЧС.
