7月15日，TRC20-USDT的发行量增至608亿枚，历史性突破600亿大关。2024年以来，TRC20-USDT已累计增发近120亿枚，爆发性的增长不仅展示了其强劲需求，也进一步巩固了波场TRON在稳定币领域的主导地位。对此，波场TRON创始人孙宇晨在社交媒体表示，这是一个重要的里程碑，波场TRON也由此成为第一个单一稳定币市值突破600亿美元的区块链。

TRC20-USDT是Tether公司基于波场网络发行的锚定美元的稳定币，自2019年4月上线起就受到广大加密用户的欢迎。2021年4月，TRC20-USDT发行量达到239亿枚，首次超越以太坊版USDT，正式开启了波场TRON主导稳定币市场的时代。此后，TRC20-USDT发行量更是不断创下新高，并于2024年1月突破500亿枚。截至目前，TRC20-USDT持有账户数超4700万，累计转账笔数达18.5亿笔，在全球范围内发挥着重要的价值流通作用。

作为区块链大规模普及并惠及现实生活的绝佳用例，TRC20-USDT已成为亿万用户的稳定币首选。英国区块链支付平台Orbital近日更发布博客文章，详细阐述了波场TRON上的USDT支付在新兴市场的重要性。文章提到，波场TRON在USDT交易量方面遥遥领先，Orbital上高达97.62%的稳定币交易发生在波场区块链上，新兴市场的用户也正坚定地支持在波场区块链上进行USDT交易。

当前，在巴西、阿根廷、土耳其等新兴市场，TRC20-USDT已然成为人们日常生活中愈发重要的支付方式。2022年，波场TRON被多米尼克官方指定为国家级区块链基础设施，TRC20-USDT等七种基于波场TRON的代币在该国享有与法币同等的权益。此外，TRC20-USDT在金融信托、法币兑换、通讯转账、旅行结算和跨境支付等领域也得到广泛应用，越来越多的主流平台如Telegram、Uquid和Pundi X等均已支持TRC20-USDT。
