Francis Suarez, a supporter of cryptocurrency and the mayor of Miami, confirmed on Friday that his campaign has reached the polling threshold and is eligible to participate in the first Republican presidential debate, becoming the ninth candidate to meet the requirements for running. Earlier this month, his campaign team met the requirement of 40,000 donors after launching a plan that offered gift cards in exchange for donations. The mayor has referred to his city as the "world capital of cryptocurrency" and has actively provided financial and technological job opportunities. It is reported that Suarez raised nearly $1 million in the first two weeks of his campaign. Two political action committees that support his campaign have raised $12 million. Ken Griffin, founder of Citadel Securities, who moved the company from Chicago to Miami, is Suarez's biggest sponsor.
