U.S. Regulator Cuts Digital Assets Out of Hedge Fund Rule

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has cut digital assets out of a hedge fund rule that requires funds to maintain certain levels of cash or cash equivalents. The rule, known as the Investment Company Act, is intended to ensure that funds have sufficient liquidity to meet investor redemptions and other obligations.
