AI Agent Payments on $XRP Ledger Gain Enterprise-Grade Trust With Mastercard The $XRP Ledger is advancing its push into enterprise-grade Al payments. According to t54, the company behind the XRPL x402 Facilitator, Al agent payments on XRPL now support Mastercard's Verifiable Intent (VI) standard, introducing cryptographic authorization and pre-settlement risk checks for autonomous blockchain transactions.

The integration enables developers to attach verifiable proof of authorization to Al-initiated payments. Beyond a standard wallet signature, each transaction can now prove who approved it, the spending limits attached to it, and the exact purchase it is authorized to complete.

These credentials are processed through the x402 Facilitator, which routes them to Trustline's risk engine before settlement. Payments are evaluated against predefined authorization rules, adding an extra layer of security before funds move on-chain.

The system is built on Mastercard's Verifiable Intent framework, part of its Agentic Commerce initiative. It uses a three-tier chain of Selective Disclosure JSON Web Token (SD-JWT) credentials, L1, L2, and L3, to verify three critical elements: who authorized the payment, what limits or conditions apply, and which transaction is being approved. This gives Al agents machine-verifiable authorization instead of relying solely on wallet ownership.

Ethereum ETFs lose $70.7M as BlackRock leads withdrawals – What’s next for ET

Ethereum ETF outflows raised fresh concerns over institutional demand after U.S. spot ETFs recorded a $70.7 million net outflow on July 24.

BlackRock accounted for the largest share of that activity after investors withdrew $52.8 million from its $ETH fund.

The figures interrupted a period of sustained inflows and shifted attention toward whether large investors had started locking in profits.

However, one trading session rarely defines a broader trend, especially after weeks of consistent institutional accumulation.

Instead, the latest withdrawal suggested that some investors had adopted a more cautious stance near key price resistance.

As a result, Ethereum faced greater scrutiny because sustained ETF outflows could reduce institutional demand and weaken bullish sentiment if similar withdrawals continued over the coming sessions.

Exchange inflows add another layer of caution

On-chain spot flow data also reflected a subtle shift after Ethereum recorded a $5.92 million net inflow into exchanges during the latest session.

Positive netflows generally indicate that more $ETH moved onto exchanges than left them, increasing the amount of readily tradable supply.

Although the inflow remained relatively modest, it contrasted with the recent pattern of stronger exchange outflows that had previously limited immediate selling pressure.

Meanwhile, the ETF withdrawal and positive spot netflow pointed in the same direction, showing that fresh supply had started returning to the market.

Even so, the figures remained far below the large exchange inflows that often accompany aggressive selloffs.

Consequently, buyers still retained an opportunity to absorb the additional supply before it significantly altered Ethereum’s broader market structure.

Could a Bullish Signal Finally Have Emerged for Dogecoin (DOGE) Crypto analyst Ali Martinez shared critical price levels regarding the technical outlook of Dogecoin ($DOGE) and Bitcoin ($BTC).

Martinez noted that the TD Sequential indicator gave a bullish signal on Dogecoin's monthly chart. According to the analyst, this signal emerged around the time the $DOGE price approached the key support level of approximately $0.056.

Martinez stated that if Dogecoin holds the $0.056 support level, the price could initially recover towards $0.16, while indicating $0.45, located at the upper limit of the rising channel, as a broader-term target.Related News Expert Opinion: "Bitcoin Is in a Very Critical Zone, Caught Between Two Fires" On the Bitcoin side, the analyst argued that the $63,800 level should be closely watched, and if this area holds as support, $BTC could experience a rebound towards $67,000.

Conversely, Martinez noted that if Bitcoin loses the $63,800 support level, selling pressure could intensify, with the next downside target being around $60,000.

At the time of writing, the $BTC price is trading at $64,065, while the $DOGE price is at $0.06990.

BitMart shuts down trading as BMX crashes more than 60%
BitMart has started a phased shutdown of its global cryptocurrency exchange after reviewing its operating conditions, market environment, and future strategy.

According to the official shutdown notice, the exchange stopped new registrations, cryptocurrency and fiat deposits, and new spot orders from 01:30 UTC on July 26. Futures accounts entered reduce-only mode, while copy trading, grid trading, API trading, and other automated services began winding down.

The exchange will end all spot, futures, and other trading services at 01:00 UTC on August 26. However, the full platform will not close on that date. BitMart plans to terminate trading-platform operations at 15:59 UTC on January 31, 2027. Users will retain limited account access for a period after that date to review records and submit withdrawals.
