Strategy Inc. has reached a major milestone, expanding its cryptocurrency reserves beyond 720,000 coins. According to its latest SEC filing, the company purchased an additional 3,015 units of Bitcoin 

Strategy Inc. has reached a major milestone, expanding its cryptocurrency reserves beyond 720,000 coins. According to its latest SEC filing, the company purchased an additional 3,015 units of Bitcoin between February 23 and March 1, 2026, at an average execution price of $67,700 (including fees).
The acquisition pushes Strategy’s total holdings to 720,737 BTC, reinforcing its position as the largest corporate holder of the asset. The company has invested approximately $54.77 billion in building its treasury, with an average purchase cost of $75,985 per coin—slightly above current market levels. Despite short-term price fluctuations, Strategy continues to treat Bitcoin as a long-term strategic asset rather than a speculative position.
To finance its ongoing accumulation, the company utilized proceeds from its at-the-market (ATM) equity offering program. During the late-February period, it raised $237.1 million in net proceeds by issuing new shares—$229.9 million from 1,730,563 Class A common shares and $7.1 million from preferred stock sales. This capital deployment strategy allows the company to expand its Bitcoin position without increasing traditional debt.
In addition, Strategy announced an adjustment to its preferred stock dividend policy. The annual dividend rate on its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock was raised from 11.25% to 11.50%, effective March 2026, aimed at enhancing shareholder returns and maintaining investor interest in its capital structure.
Strategy’s continued accumulation underscores the growing institutional acceptance of Bitcoin as a treasury asset. While market prices may fluctuate, the company’s long-term conviction remains clear—viewing Bitcoin as a store of value and strategic balance sheet component.
As corporate adoption of digital assets evolves, Strategy’s approach continues to shape discussions about the role o#f cryptocurrencies in enterprise finance and asset management.

But the alternative looks more likely given the technical setup. Dropping below $0.087 triggers what analysts call a doomsday scenario for the current structure. That support level holds the small uptrend together. Losing it means the downtrend from earlier continues. February’s 14% loss extends, and the fifth consecutive monthly decline becomes six.
