Pundit’s XRP Projection For Next Bull Cycle Shows When Rally To $100 Is Coming

Popular crypto pundit TARA has published a five-cycle Fibonacci roadmap for $XRP on X, projecting that the crypto’s price will eventually surpass $100 in the long term.

The projections, which are based on 0.618 extension targets applied to $XRP’s 12-month candlestick chart, trace a sequence of progressively higher cycle peaks, each one separated by corrections and extended accumulation periods, that culminate in a Cycle 5 top of $153.

Macro Targets For $XRP

TARA’s projection framework begins with a pricepoint that is already settled history. Cycle 1, which she noted as complete, produced a top price of $3.65. This is relating to $XRP’s current all-time high registered in July 2025. That confirmed peak is the anchor for the entire projection. Each subsequent cycle target is derived using Fibonacci extension methodology applied to $XRP’s price structure on the larger timeframe.

The next three cycles form the bridge between $XRP’s current price and the psychologically significant $100 threshold. TARA projected Cycle 2 will peak near $8.68, applying the 0.618 Fibonacci extension to the range established by Cycle 1. Cycle 3 follows with a projected top of approximately $22.50, and Cycle 4 extends the same 0.618 Fibonacci sequence to a peak around $59.

Mastercard has announced an acquisition of stablecoins infrastructure firm BVNK, which was previously in talks with Coinbase over a $2 billion deal.

Mastercard Will Be Acquiring BVNK For Up To $1.8 Billion
As announced in a press release, Mastercard has reached a definitive agreement to acquire BVNK for up to $1.8 billion, including $300 million in contingent payments.

BVNK is an enterprise stablecoins infrastructure solutions provider that operates across more than 130 countries. Last year, the company was in discussion with cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase over a merger, but in November, the deal fell through.

Now, it would appear that Mastercard has been successful in obtaining a signature from the stablecoins infrastructure firm. “The deal further expands Mastercard’s end-to-end support of digital assets and value movement across currencies, rails and regions,” noted the press release.

In January, another major payments card provider, Visa, also formed a partnership with BVNK, seeking its expertise to enable stablecoin payments on the Visa Direct platform.

Mastercard is also eyeing an integration of its fiat rails with on-chain payments in this acquisition. Jorn Lambert, Mastercard Chief Product Officer, said:

This acquisition reinforces what we have always done, using innovation and technology to power economies and empower people. Adding on-chain rails to our network will support speed and programmability for virtually every type of transaction.

Stablecoins, which are cryptocurrencies tied to fiat currencies, have been gaining adoption around the world in recent years, owing to positive regulation like the United States’ GENIUS Act. “We expect that most financial institutions and fintechs will in time provide digital currency services, be it with stablecoins or tokenized deposits,” noted Lambert.

A cross-party parliamentary committee of UK lawmakers urged an immediate ban on crypto political donations, calling them an “unacceptably high risk,” and proposed a binding moratorium via amendments to the Representation of the People Bill.

The recommendations come as political donations in the UK reached nearly £65 million ($86.7 million) in 2025, according to Electoral Commission data.
A cross-party parliamentary committee has urged the UK government to "immediately ban" cryptocurrency donations to political parties, citing "unacceptably high" risks to electoral integrity.

In a statement released Wednesday, lawmakers recommended a binding moratorium through amendments to the Representation of the People Bill until enforceable safeguards are in place.

The committee's 47-page report outlined how crypto-based transfers can bypass traditional financial controls. It pointed to the use of mixers and tumblers to obscure fund flows, privacy coins to conceal transaction histories, and swap services and chain-hopping techniques to mask the origin and movement of funds across jurisdictions.

Lawmakers also highlighted persistent gaps in verifying donors' source of wealth when crypto is converted into fiat. Micro-donations below the £500 ($667) disclosure threshold were flagged as a "particular concern," with the report noting that AI tools could fragment larger transfers into multiple £499 contributions to avoid scrutiny.

Investments continue to pour into crypto exchange-traded products amid the war in the Middle East, according to the digital asset manager Coinshares.Inflows of digital asset investment products hit $1.06 billion last week, marking the third consecutive week of inflows. Coinshares says the amount of funds that go to crypto products during a disruptive geopolitical event reinforces digital assets, particularly Bitcoin (BTC), as a relative safe haven compared with other asset classes. Since the crisis in Iran started, the total assets under management (AUM) in digital asset exchange-traded products grew by $140 billion, representing an increase of 9.4%.Investors allocated $793 million for Bitcoin, which accounts for 75% of the inflows. They also funneled $315 million to Ethereum (ETH). XRP saw outflows for the second week in a row, totalling $76 million.The US is behind $1.02 billion, or 96%, of the inflows, followed by Canada and Switzerland, which saw inflows of $19.4 million and $10.4 million, respectively. Hong Kong recorded inflows of $23.1 million, the 

largest since August 2025, while Germany witnessed outflows of $17.1 million, its first weekly outflow in 2026.The sustained inflows in crypto investment products come as Bitcoin and Ethereum rally. From trading below $66,000 on March 9th, Bitcoin soared to over $76,000.
