Is $RAVE’s correction turning into a reset?

The recent dip is not happening in isolation. Indicators are beginning to align around a short-term reset.

The Stochastic RSI has drifted toward oversold territory, a signal that selling pressure may be nearing exhaustion.

At the same time, price has moved back into a wider zone where previous activity was concentrated. That shift suggests repositioning rather than outright weakness.

Bitcoin’s rally above $76,000 has slowed as short-term traders locked in profits, selling around 63,000 BTC within 24 hours. This marks the highest level of profit-taking activity in 2026 and suggests that many traders are choosing to secure gains near key resistance levels.

At the same time, long-term holders and whales are showing strong accumulation behavior. Over 71,000 BTC flowed into accumulation addresses in a single day, indicating that large investors are buying the supply being sold by short-term traders. This dynamic reflects a shift of Bitcoin from weaker hands to stronger hands.

This opposing activity is creating a temporary pause in momentum. While profit-taking is adding selling pressure, whale demand is helping stabilize the price and preventing a deeper drop.

From a technical perspective, Bitcoin faced rejection near the 100-day EMA and pulled back toward the $73,500 level. Liquidity zones are forming around $73,000 and $72,000, which could act as short-term support levels before the next move.

Liquidation data also shows that significant long positions are at risk between $73,000 and $70,500, suggesting the possibility of a short-term dip before continuation. On the upside, a move toward $80,000 could trigger large short liquidations and fuel another rally.

Overall, the market is currently in a cooling phase, with profit-taking and accumulation balancing each other. A brief pullback may occur before Bitcoin attempts another move higher.

Another concern is declining activity on the Ethereum network. Revenue from decentralized applications has dropped sharply, and competition from newer blockchains is increasing. These factors are raising questions about whether Ethereum can sustain strong growth in the future.

Overall, while institutional accumulation and spot demand are supporting ETH’s recovery, mixed signals from derivatives markets and weak network activity suggest that the rally may face challenges ahead.

On April 15, one of the leading privacy coins, Zcash ($ZEC), plunged by around 4% as the overbought weekly rally cooled down.

According to CoinMarketCap, the $ZEC price is currently trading at around $342.29, with a drop of around 4.52%. At present, the privacy coin is holding a market capitalization of around $5.69 billion. A similar drop was also witnessed in the $ZEC price, where it plunged to $454.68 million.

Zcash ($ZEC) Price Faces Slight Drop Amid Consolidation Pattern

In the last 7 days, the $ZEC has soared by around 6.81%. Today’s drop is a sign that the cryptocurrency is facing a small correction before further upward momentum.

Zcash is creating pressure as the breakout zone comes closer. The token is consolidating after a sharp recovery, and the current price is holding above major support while gradually heading towards resistance levels.

The current price chart is forming higher lows. This is one of the biggest signs of accumulation from buyers. If the price manages to for a clean breakout with high trading volume, it could expand quickly into a strong upward momentum. At present, there are major target points at $350, $380, and $420.

The price movement is a result of the recent consolidation phase, where the cryptocurrency has repeatedly traded between the tight range of $345 and $362. The consolidation pattern is currently forming a consolidation pattern on the daily chart after breaking out from a multi-month downtrend.

The current price movement is like a flag formation where the token is taking a break from recent highs around the $360 to identify the next direction. This kind of price movement comes after a rally in the cryptocurrency. This might help it to go for another high if trading volume stays high.
