NovaBay Pharmaceuticals is moving deeper into crypto, announcing a full strategic pivot that includes a rebrand to Stablecoin Development Corporation and a shift toward on-chain treasury and staking activities.

In a Form 8-K filing, the company said it will adopt the new name and begin trading under the ticker SDEV on the NYSE American on 3 April. The move marks a significant transition from its legacy pharmaceutical business toward a crypto-focused operating model.

From pharma to on-chain strategy The filing shows that the company is no longer experimenting with digital assets but actively restructuring around them. NovaBay disclosed holdings of approximately 2.06 billion SKY tokens as of 16 March, alongside accumulated staking rewards.

Rather than holding crypto passively, the firm said it is engaging in "SKY-related on-chain activities," including staking. This model allows token holders to earn yield by participating in network operations.

The shift effectively positions the company as an on-chain holding entity, aligning its treasury strategy with the mechanics of decentralized finance [DeFi].

Further downside was possible. Short-term holders were intent on protecting their profits or trying to exit the market at a breakeven, capping the potential of any rally.

Yet, the higher timeframe price action was at an interesting place where a price bounce could not be ruled out completely.

Explaining Bitcoin’s trend expectations

The swing moves on the 3-day timeframe were captured in white. The latest bounce amid the downtrend came in February and was incomplete. There’s a reason why it is considered incomplete.

In October 2025, when the swing structure was bullish, Bitcoin made a double top at $124.4k. This inability to continue the uptrend was an early warning sign of weakness from the bulls.

Subsequently, the swing structure shifted bearishly after the $107.2k low was breached in early November.

Consider the price action since February. The $60k swing low resulted in a bounce that has not climbed above the 50% retracement level.

Many analysts consider the area above the 50% retracement as “premium,” and a move into this area is more likely to result in the next bearish swing move.

The threshold was at $78.9k, and the latest bounce only reached $76k. After this bounce, Bitcoin has not yet climbed below the $60k swing low.

Expectations for Bitcoin’s next move

Standard Chartered Sees Bitcoin Exploding To $500K By 2030

Ethereum could outpace Bitcoin by a wide margin over the next four years — at least according to one of the most bullish forecasts to come out of traditional banking. That is the view from Geoff Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Assets Research at Standard Chartered, who laid out the projection in a recent podcast appearance.

Ethereum’s Potential Gain Towers Over Bitcoin’s

While Bitcoin grabs the bigger headline number, the math actually favors Ethereum. Kendrick’s base case puts Bitcoin at $500,000 by 2030 — roughly 7.5 times its current price of $66,400.

Ethereum, sitting at $2,034, would need to hit $40,000 to meet his target. That works out to about 20 times its current value. In other words, Ethereum holders would see nearly three times the relative return compared to Bitcoin investors, if the forecast holds.

Kendrick flagged the $ETH/$BTC ratio as one indicator to watch. That ratio currently sits at around 0.03. His outlook has it climbing to 0.04 in the near term, a signal that Ethereum would be gaining ground on Bitcoin in relative terms.

He also offered a more immediate checkpoint: if Bitcoin gets back to $100,000 by the end of 2026, Ethereum should be trading near $4,000. That would represent gains of roughly 50% for Bitcoin and 95% for Ethereum from where both assets currently stand.

The past 24 hours have seen altcoins react differently, with the majority of them recording losses. Centrifuge [CFG] was one of the standout performers with a 12% increase, ranking among the top ten daily gainers.

Centrifuge’s announcement to expand to Base Chain, where it allowed the trading of tokenized S&P 500 as a new asset class, drove the rally. Is tokenization the main driver of CFG? Can bulls keep up with the pace?

CFG price bounces off KEY retracement level

The charts clearly showed the current bullish momentum, with CFG rallying from a low of $0.14 to a daily high of $0.172. The altcoin lost its rising trendline support on the 31st of March but seemed to have ended the correction phase.



CFG bounced off the zone between 0.618 and 0.786 Fibonacci Retracement levels. To be specific, the altcoin respected the optimal zone at the 0.75 Fib level but seems to be seeing rejection around $0.17.

Holding through the premium zone, which is above the 0.5 Fib level, the altcoin increases the potential to hit $0.1857. However, this zone has sparked bearish reversals three times as CFG makes the fourth attempt
