IRGC news on Monday confirmed that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards declared they will take “necessary action against the terrorist US military” once the safety of the Touska’s crew is confirmed, CNN reported, after the USS Spruance fired on the Iranian-flagged cargo vessel in the Gulf of Oman and US Marines rappelled from helicopters to board and seize the ship. Summary The IRGC said it faced “certain limitations” responding immediately because family members of the crew were on board, making the retaliation conditional rather than cancelled. The USS Spruance fired several rounds from its 5-inch gun after the Touska ignored six hours of warnings, then US Marines boarded via helicopter and took full custody of the vessel. Iran’s joint military command separately warned that any attack on civilian targets will produce retaliation that is “much more devastating and widespread” than anything seen in the conflict to date. IRGC news from Monday’s CNN report confirmed that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards were prepared to retaliate for the Touska seizure but were constrained by crew family members aboard. The IRGC, via the Tasnim News Agency, stated it was “prepared to respond decisively” and described the US action as “blatant aggression.” The retaliation was conditional, not cancelled. “Once the safety of the families and crew of the vessel targeted by the United States is ensured, the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will take the necessary action against the terrorist US military,” the statement said. The Touska is an Iranian-flagged cargo vessel nearly 900 feet long that attempted to cross the US naval blockade in the Gulf of Oman on Sunday. US Central Command reported it ignored warnings over a six-hour period. Solana DeFi Tests Liquidity Depth as USDC Borrow Rates Surge


The Solana ecosystem suffers a liquidity crisis after the security breach at KelpDAO on April 20, draining $USDC reserves.

Leading protocols such as Jupiter and Kamino report utilization levels near 100%, limiting access to capital for new loans.

Stablecoin lending yields have climbed to 10.2%, marking record levels in the network’s credit infrastructure.

Following the KelpDAO security incident that shook investor confidence, the DeFi sector on Solana is undergoing a systemic challenge. The massive outflow of capital has created a bottleneck in stablecoin availability, driving up operating costs.

Technical data shows the magnitude of the crisis: Jupiter Lend, with $421 million in deposits, maintains a 99% utilization rate. Meanwhile, the Kamino market records an interest rate of 10.2% on $USDC, with barely any remaining liquidity to withdraw or borrow.

The pressure on the ecosystem is not superficial, as the main credit markets are operating at the limit of their technical capacity. This situation forces users to re-evaluate their positions in the face of the scarcity of liquid assets.

As liquidity providers withdraw their funds for fear of contagion, interest rates act as a defense mechanism. However, this rising cost of credit is paralyzing leverage strategies that are vital to the network.

Loans are issued through Morpho on Base with variable interest rates, no fixed repayment schedule, and liquidation tied to collateral value thresholds. Coinbase said in a statement on Monday that the new offering lets UK users access loans through Morpho on its Layer 2 network Base, with all loans secured by overcollateralized crypto holdings. The service currently accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, and cbETH as collateral. Once pledged, the assets are transferred on-chain into a Morpho smart contract and remain locked until the borrower repays the loan. Users can initiate borrowing directly from the Coinbase app by selecting a collateral asset and choosing how much USDC they want to receive. Funds are issued “within seconds” after approval, according to the company, and are credited to the user’s Coinbase account, where they can be converted into British pounds or moved elsewhere. Market cap figures of $4 trillion are—according to Sweep—an illusion created by locked supplies and manipulated prices. The real money that entered the ecosystem represents only a fraction of the values officially reported.

A token with a $2 billion market cap and only 5% float possesses only $100 million in tradable value. The rest is team inventory that constantly exerts downward price pressure.

Technical analysis reveals that the extraction pattern begins with launches where 90% of the supply remains locked. This allows for the presentation of massive fully diluted valuations (FDV) that do not correspond with the real liquidity on the books.
