Notably, Bitcoin's latest on-chain data suggests the market is entering the final stage of its bearish phase. During this period, investors typically realize heavy losses as they sell below their cost basis. As this selling pressure fades, Bitcoin has historically found a bottom before rebounding.
Supporting this view, Bitcoin's Realized P/L
Ratio has fallen to -0.35, its lowest level in 43 months. The indicator measures realized profits against realized losses. A deeply negative reading shows that losses are dominating, signaling widespread capitulation. In previous market cycles, similar levels have often coincided with major Bitcoin bottoms, making the metric a closely watched signal for long-term investors.

German Banking Giants Introduce Cryptocurrency to 80 Million Customers – What Does It Mean?

Two major German banking groups are undergoing a significant transformation, integrating cryptocurrency trading directly into their banking apps. These two banks are Sparkassen and Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken.

Through this move, the banking network will allow millions of ordinary retail customers to buy and sell digital assets without going through third-party cryptocurrency exchanges.

These institutions have approximately 80 million customers in Germany, making this one of the largest integrations of cryptocurrency and traditional banking in Europe.

It's worth noting that just four years ago, these two banking groups considered cryptocurrencies too risky and abandoned investment. Now, they are building their own regulated cryptocurrency infrastructure, rather than partnering with external exchanges.

However, the two collaborating banks have already launched the meinKrypto platform through their subsidiary, DZ Bank. For those unfamiliar, "meinKrypto" is a platform that allows German state-owned banks (Volksbanken) and Austrian central co-operation banks (Raiffeisenbanken) to directly deliver Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) to millions of retail depositors.

The platform received approval from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) in December 2025 and operates within the EU Crypto Asset Market (MiCA) framework. Following the announcement of the approval on January 14th, "meinKrypto" officially launched.

Meanwhile, Boerse Stuttgart Digital offers cryptocurrency custody services, ensuring that asset storage and trading continue to be subject to German regulations. Furthermore, DekaBank is also preparing to launch a similar service for German savings banks.
