- The White House (@WhiteHouse) June 22, 2026 Speaking during the signing event, Trump said "quantum technologies represents the next generation of innovation across computing, sensing, and networking," adding that the sector carries significant implications for economic growth, scientific research, and national security.

The first order, Executive Order 14411, establishes the Quantum Computer for Application Development and Discovery Science, or QC-ADDS, initiative. Under the directive, the Department of Energy must identify technical requirements for an advanced quantum computer within 90 days and work toward deploying at least one such system at a federal research facility

The move comes amid public criticism of the Ethereum Foundation, which has seen a bevy of notable departures in recent months.Former Ethereum Foundation researchers have launched Ethlabs, a nonprofit backed by Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin as well as the two largest ETH treasury firms, Bitmine Immersion Technologies and SharpLink, to help prepare the network for its "next phase" of institutional adoption.

"As stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, funds and autonomous AI commerce move onchain, they are converging on Ethereum," according to a statement. "Ethlabs exists to ensure the network is ready to absorb that demand at scale, advancing a faster Ethereum with trustworthy interoperability, so institutions building on Ethereum can do so with the neutrality, resilience, privacy and security they require."

Ethlabs' launch could eventually play a major role in how the Ethereum ecosystem evolves in the years to come. While the Ethereum Foundation has historically been the network's primary backer and coordinator of research, with the formation of Ethlabs, both significant ETH holders and ecosystem contributors have come together to form an independent organization tasked with shaping the network's future.

Five former senior Ethereum Foundation researchers co-founded Ethlabs, according to Monday's statement. The researchers are "technologists who have guided the network through its most consequential upgrades over the past decade," Ethlabs also said.

Solana’s rally began late last week after a TD Sequential buy signal, lifting the price about 8% from $68 to $74. However, momentum now appears to be shifting on shorter timeframes.

As the price of Solana rises above $70,  it encounters a heavy resistance at $75, which could be a hurdle to this recovery.

Moreover, the TD Sequential has flashed sell on the 4-hour timeframe as it tests its resistance trendline. The resistance is coinciding with the 200 SMA, showing its a strong area of supply. As such, it could suggest that SOL is about to undergo a minor pullback to $72 or even lower levels.However, SOL remains structurallybullish in the near-term. In fact, Solana was showing more strength than Ethereum [ETH], explaining why its Solana ETFs inflows and network activity remain strong contrary to what the charts could do.
