Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki said on June 20 that he is monitoring gold, silver, bitcoin, and ethereum for signs that their recent declines have ended, adding that he intends to buy once prices begin reversing higher.

In a post on X, the famous author outlined an investment approach centered on evaluating the broader environment surrounding an asset rather than reacting solely to price movements. He said understanding economic, political, and market conditions is more important than focusing on short-term fluctuations.

Kiyosaki shared:

“One mistake I have made (and I’ve made many) is letting price determine reasons to buy or sell any asset.”

He explained that when assessing investments such as real estate, he looks beyond price declines and considers factors including job growth and local economic conditions.

Noting that the same principle applies to precious metals, Kiyosaki said he closely follows political and banking leaders when evaluating gold and silver, asking whether they are solving economic problems or contributing to them.Kiyosaki’s outlook remains tied to his concerns about the global economy and the actions of policymakers. “I think our global leaders are incompetent, only making things worse,” he wrote.

While maintaining a bullish stance on hard assets and cryptocurrencies, he said he is waiting for technical confirmation before entering new positions.

The acclaimed author said:

“So I am watching prices of gold, silver, bitcoin, and ethereum on technical charts and will buy when prices reverse their decline.”

Kiyosaki added that gold and silver appear particularly attractive based on current chart setups.

Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor signaled another Bitcoin (BTC) purchase on Sunday, posting MicroStrategy’s tracker hours after he urged unity among Bitcoin holders.

The timing stands out. MicroStrategy’s most recent filing reported a small Bitcoin sale rather than a purchase, and the firm has disclosed no new buy in three weeks.

Strategy held 846,842 BTC as of this writing, according to a regulatory filing. At an average cost of $75,658, the position sits about 10% below cost.

Bitcoin was trading near $64,082 on Sunday, up 1.31% on the day. That values the holdings around $54.2 billion.

The caption fueled fresh purchase speculation, a familiar move from Saylor before past acquisitions. The firm, formerly MicroStrategy, began buying in 2020 and remains the largest corporate holder by a wide margin.

Hours earlier, Saylor urged the Bitcoin community to focus on its shared goals rather than internal disputes.

Altura winds down stablecoin vault after 'unprecedented level' of withdrawal requests
DeFi protocol Altura said it is winding down its yield-bearing stablecoin vault following an ‘unprecedented level’ of withdrawal requests over the weekend.

Altura’s CEO said the protocol was affected by misinformation in the market, seemingly referring to contagion fears linked to the depegging of Main Street’s msUSD.
DeFi protocol Altura announced Sunday that it will begin an orderly wind-down of its stablecoin yield vault following substantial withdrawal requests over the weekend.

In a post on social media platform X, Altura CEO Ranveer Arora said the platform has processed more than 8.5 million USDT in instant redemptions over the 24 hours leading up to his post, amid what he described as an "unprecedented level" of withdrawal requests.

"Given the sustained withdrawal demand and current market sentiment, we have made the difficult decision to begin an orderly wind-down of the Altura vault," Arora wrote. "Our priority remains the protection of user capital and ensuring all redemptions are completed in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner."

The vault, which had reached a peak total value locked of $39 million on HyperEVM, allocates stablecoin deposits across multiple strategies, including funding-rate arbitrage, market making, and real-world asset (RWA) positions.

According to Arora, Altura has notified all counterparties and partners of the decision and has begun unwinding positions, including allocations held on exchanges, in private credit, and in real-world asset strategies. The CEO added that some positions may take longer to be fully redeemed.
