Semiconductor company ASML saw its shares dip on Wednesday morning after its China segment took a hit from new export bans. The equipment maker's China segment shrank as a percentage of net system sales. ASML stock is down over 5% at the time of writing. "Demand for chips is outpacing supply. In response, our customers are accelerating their capacity expansion plans for 2026 and beyond," said CEO Christophe Fouquet in the company's quarterly results release. In its latest guidance for Q2, ASML raised its 2026 net sales forecast to a range of $42.46 billion to $47.18 billion. That's up from a range of $40.12 billion and $46.02 billion previously forecasted.

Last week, a bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers

proposed a bill that would cut off ASML's sales of DUV machines to Chinese chip companies, thereby affecting its already shrinking sales there. That law still needs to work its way through the U.S. legislative process. While the Dutch chipmaker has never been allowed to sell EUV machines to China, it has long sold its lower-end deep ultraviolet, or DUV, chipmaking machines there. Therefore, China's ban cuts deeply into ASML's revenue, scaring off stock investors. Bitcoin price jumped past $75,000 on Wednesday as traders recalibrated what the asset represents in the wake of the Iran conflict and an unusually stretched derivatives market. Price action, positioning data, and a real-world test of bitcoin as a settlement rail now point to a market that values the token as more than a volatile wager on tech risk.

Bitcoin price traded around $74,000 to $75,000 on April 15, extending a rebound that began after a February low near $60,000. The move leaves the asset up roughly 23% from that trough and about 3% on the week, even as broader macro and geopolitical headlines remain tense.

Bitdeer hits 70 EH/s in self-mining bitcoin operations, claims top spot by compute Bitdeer's total hashrate under management grew to 78.1 EH/s, including its massive self-mining fleet and hosted machines, as of the end of March.

CleanSpark, often ranked among the largest miners by compute, reported an operational hashrate of about 50 EH/s in its latest operations filing on Wednesday.

Bitdeer (NASDAQ: BTDR) produced 661 self-mined bitcoins in March 2026, up 480% from the same month last year, according to its latest operations update. The firm has been ramping up its bitcoin mining business to become a dominant player in the ecosystem.

According to its filing on Wednesday, Bitdeer now commands about 225,000 self-owned rigs, out of the 262,000 it has under management. It is also scaling up to 3.0 gigawatts in global energy capacity, including the operations in the pipeline.

In total, Bitdeer said its self-mining bitcoin operations scaled to about 70 exahashes per second (EH/s), an 504% increase year over year, once again making it the largest miner by computer power. This is a title Bitdeer claimed at the end of last year, when it reported "total hash rate under management" of 71 EH/s, including, at the time, a self-mining hashrate of 55.2 EH/s.

Ethereum Price Prediction: Support Tested, $2,400 Caps Upside



Ethereum is testing a key support area while traders watch whether buyers can hold the latest pullback. At the same time, resistance levels at $2,400 and $2,665 keep the upside path crowded.

Ethereum Pullback Puts $2,222 to $2,036 Support Zone in Focus

Ethereum may be entering a wave two pullback, with chart analyst Man of Bitcoin pointing to a support area between $2,222 and $2,036. The setup mirrors a similar view on Bitcoin and suggests $ETH could face more short term downside before any stronger bullish continuation appears.

The 4 hour chart shows Ethereum trading near $2,311 after pulling back from the recent local high around the $2,380 area. The analyst marked the current move as a possible corrective decline, with Fibonacci support levels stacked below price. Those levels include $2,222, $2,166, $2,111, and $2,036, which together form the main support zone for the expected wave two retracement.

At the same time, the chart keeps a broader bullish structure on the table as long as $ETH holds that lower area. A white projected path shows the pullback finishing before a possible push higher in a larger wave three move. However, if Ethereum loses the $2,036 level, the chart opens room for a deeper drop toward lower downside targets shown near $1,755 and $1,387.

For now, the analysis suggests Ethereum remains in a correction phase rather than a confirmed breakdown. The key question is whether buyers step in between $2,222 and $2,036. If they do, the pullback could stay within a bullish wave structure. If not, downside pressure may grow and push $ETH into a much deeper retracement.l
