A well-known crypto trader, KillaXBT, believes that Bitcoin (BTC) could still have one final drop before reaching its true market bottom.
According to Killa, every past Bitcoin cycle has followed a similar pattern — a last sharp dip combined with panic selling from investors before the market finally stabilizes. If history repeats itself, we may not be at the bottom just yet.
Sharing his view on X (formerly Twitter), he suggested that another short-term decline could happen before Bitcoin begins its next upward move.
As of April 11 at 10:53 PM, data from CoinMarketCap shows that Bitcoin was trading at $72,692, marking a modest 0.69% increase over the past 24 hours.
While the market remains uncertain in the short term, this perspective highlights a common theme in crypto cycles: final dips often shake out weak hands before a stronger recovery begins.

Tron Crypto Network Sees Noteworthy Spike In TVL

Aside from upcoming technical developments, the network has also been demonstrating significant activity. The lowest total value locked (TVL) that the network has recorded was $3.85 billion on 11 March.

Tron’s TVL clocked $4.96 billion as of 10 April (Friday), which was a $1.1 billion gain from its lowest figure in March. Such growth figures are not quite common during a market downturn.

A substantial amount of that upside was because the TRX price surged considerably during the last 4 weeks. However, a look at the Tron TVL in TRX form rather than in dollar denomination also revealed a surge from 12.84 billion TRX towards the end of March, to 15.48 TRX at press time.

Simplechain lays new rails for Asia's onchain RWA freight Simplechain raises $15m to build an RWA-first layer 1 and dataipo protocol, extending ex-jd.com and ant group execs' push into compliant asset tokenization.

Real-world asset (RWA) startup SimpleChain has raised $15 million in seed funding to build a dedicated Layer 1 blockchain aimed at tokenizing assets such as credit, energy infrastructure and other off-chain collateral at scale. The company said the new capital will go toward engineering, compliance and ecosystem incentives as it races to position its infrastructure as a base layer for regulated RWA issuance. The round comes amid a broader rush by Chinese and Asia-based fintech players to move asset tokenization on-chain, with Hong Kong emerging as a key testing ground.

According to Chinese outlet PANews, SimpleChain's founding team includes former executives from Shuqin Technology, JD.com and Ant Group, who previously helped build compliant fintech and supply-chain finance platforms for traditional markets. Their new blockchain is pitched as a continuation of that work, but with settlement and asset logic moving fully on-chain. "The launch of SimpleChain and the DatalPO protocol is an extension of years spent building compliant infrastructure for real-world assets," the team said in comments reported by industry media, framing the project as a way to "bridge institutional capital with public blockchains without sacrificing regulatory standards."
