Netflow data showed a shift toward positive territory, with recent inflows reaching approximately $207.81K. 

This change indicated that more ARB had moved onto exchanges, increasing the available supply for potential selling. 

Such inflows often reflect distribution behavior, particularly as price recovers into resistance zones.

While earlier periods showed consistent outflows, the recent transition suggested that some participants had begun positioning for exits or profit-taking. 

This dynamic introduced a layer of caution, as rising inflows could counterbalance the demand driven by staking and ecosystem growth.

Bitcoin dropped around 2.6% over the past 24 hours, trading near $71,093, after briefly touching lows close to $70,600. Ethereum declined about 3.6%, while XRP and Solana also posted losses of 2% and 3.25% respectively. The GMCI 30 index, which tracks the top 30 cryptocurrencies, fell roughly 2.5%.
Market sentiment turned risk-off after reports that extended talks in Islamabad—lasting over 20 hours—ended without progress. U.S. officials stated that Iranian representatives refused to accept proposed terms, while Iranian media blamed “unreasonable demands” from Washington.
The breakdown in diplomacy came shortly after brief optimism triggered by a proposed ceasefire timeline, which had supported a short-lived rally in risk assets. However, investors remained cautious amid uncertainty over whether a broader agreement could be reached.
Adding to market pressure, geopolitical tensions intensified after reports that the U.S. ordered heightened naval pressure around the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil shipping route, raising concerns about further escalation in the Middle East.
Despite the short-term volatility, some analysts argue that the broader market structure and institutional interest in crypto remain intact, suggesting that recent moves are driven more by macro uncertainty than fundamental weakness.

Geopolitical breakdowns are once again driving volatility across crypto markets, with investors reacting sharply to escalating U.S.–Iran tensions.

Grinex, a Kyrgyzstan-based crypto exchange with reported links to Russia and previously sanctioned networks, has abruptly suspended trading and withdrawals following a large-scale cyberattack.
According to its official statement, hackers siphoned off approximately 1 billion rubles (around $13 million in crypto assets) by exploiting vulnerabilities in the platform’s infrastructure. The exchange has since paused operations and filed a formal complaint with law enforcement authorities.
In its public response, Grinex claimed the attack showed signs of “unfriendly state” involvement, suggesting it may have been conducted with the resources of foreign intelligence services. The company framed the incident not just as a security breach, but as part of a broader form of economic conflict.
Blockchain analysts and prior investigations have described Grinex—launched in 2025—as a successor to Garantex, a Moscow-based exchange previously sanctioned by the U.S. and European authorities for alleged involvement in illicit transactions and sanctions evasion.
The platform has reportedly facilitated trading in rubles, USDT, and the A7A5 stablecoin, which is believed to be tied to Russian financial infrastructure and used in sanctions-affected capital flows.
On-chain investigators noted that stolen funds were quickly converted into assets such as TRX and dispersed across multiple wallets, likely to reduce exposure to stablecoin freezes and improve obfuscation. Some forensic firms also suggest overlaps with related platforms and wallet structures, indicating a broader ecosystem rather than an isolated exploit.
Grinex, however, maintains that the attack involved “unprecedented capabilities” typically associated with state-level actors and argues it may be part of a coordinated effort targeting Russia-linked financial channels.
