Jan3 founder Samson Mow anticipates billionaire investor and Tesla CEO Elon Musk will aggressively move into Bitcoin in 2026.

It was one of five bold Bitcoin (BTC) predictions from Mow for 2026, coming off a year where several Bitcoin forecasts from prominent crypto executives missed the mark.

“@elonmusk goes hard into BTC,” Mow said in an X post on Saturday.

Musk has shown his support for cryptocurrency over the years, but has raised concerns around Bitcoin’s environmental risks. Tesla stopped taking Bitcoin payments in May 2021 due to environmental concerns. The following year, in July 2022, the electric vehicle manufacturer revealed that it had sold 75% of its Bitcoin holdings.

Bitcoin may reach seven-figure territory in 2026, says Mow

Mow, who is no stranger to optimistic Bitcoin price targets, also predicted that Bitcoin’s price will reach $1.33 million in 2026, which is around 1,367% from its current price of $90,596, according to CoinMarketCap.

Mow told Magazine in June 2025 that Bitcoin may reach $1 million during 2025, or if not, 2026. “[It] is a given at this point, maybe this year, maybe next year.”

Bitcoin’s [BTC] performance has been subdued lately, with its price action close to stagnation after no significant gains or losses in recent sessions.

In fact, the crypto has stayed range-bound between $90,000 and $93,000, with no decisive breakout or breakdown as investors closely monitor these key levels. This price behavior raises the question of whether the prevailing sentiment around Bitcoin is turning bearish or simply losing strength.




The Financial Conditions Index serves as an economic indicator that reflects how traditional market conditions may influence risk assets such as Bitcoin.

The index averages normalized values of key macroeconomic indicators to determine the broader market bias surrounding Bitcoin. It assesses sentiment based on whether readings fall within positive or negative regions on the chart.

Historically, positive FCI readings have been associated with tighter financial conditions and weaker Bitcoin performance, while negative readings tend to support bullish price action. In practical terms, a positive reading is a sign of tightening liquidity and rising financial stress across financial markets.

At the time of writing, the FCI was in negative territory, hinting at some degree of financial easing. However, the reading was only slightly negative. A deeper negative reading would imply more favorable conditions capable of supporting stronger price appreciation in Bitcoin.

That’s not all though as investor behavior across the market also appeared to reflect this mildly supportive, but still uncertain environment.

XRP price is holding above $2.08, but the breakout is not confirming yet. The reason is not price weakness alone. It is timing. Over the past week, XRP spot ETF inflows dropped to their weakest level since trading began, lining up with a visible slowdown in upside momentum.

At the same time, long-term holders have started buying aggressively. This creates a rare conflict between institutional demand and long-term conviction, leaving XRP at a decisive point.

Weakest XRP ETF Inflow Week Delays Pattern Confirmation

XRP is still trading inside a bullish inverse head and shoulders structure on the daily chart. The pattern remains valid, but the breakout has stalled. Price is holding above the right shoulder near $2.08, yet it remains far from confirming the neckline.

That delay lines up directly with ETF data.

During the week ending January 9, XRP spot ETFs recorded just $38.07 million in net inflows. This is the lowest weekly inflow since launch, down nearly 84% from the late-November peak near $244 million. The timing matters.

The sharpest part of XRP’s pullback occurred between January 6 and January 9, exactly when ETF demand cooled the most.
