Dogecoin Breaks Key Weekly Support as Downside Risk Builds
Dogecoin has fallen below a key weekly support level near $0.071, weakening its short-term structure and increasing the risk of further losses. Analyst Scient said the breakdown could also signal broader weakness across the crypto market because $DOGE often reflects speculative demand.

The chart shows $DOGE trading near $0.069 after losing a consolidation range that had supported price through most of July. The breakdown follows another rejection from a descending resistance line, confirming that sellers remain in control.

The first task for buyers is to reclaim the $0.071 to $0.074 area. A sustained recovery above that zone could weaken the breakdown and reopen the path toward $0.079.

However, continued trading below former support would keep pressure on $DOGE. The chart points to lower support near $0.065, followed by a broader descending trendline around $0.061.

A break below $0.061 would strengthen the bearish outlook and could push Dogecoin toward the lower boundary of its long-term accumulation region. For now, the loss of weekly support favors further downside unless buyers quickly reclaim the broken level.

BlackRock goes bullish on Ethereum, buys more ETH than Bitcoinattracted more capital into Ethereum (ETH) than Bitcoin (BTC) through its U.S. spot cryptocurrency ETFs during the five trading days ending July 24.

Data shows BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) and ETHB recorded a combined net inflow of $99.2 million between July 20 and July 24.

Over the same period, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) posted a net outflow of $95.5 million, a rare instance in which the asset manager’s Ethereum products outperformed its flagship Bitcoin fund in terms of net flows.

The divergence comes as Ethereum ETF demand has strengthened in July while Bitcoin ETF flows have become more volatile amid profit-taking and shifting investor sentiment.

Ethereum inflows were driven primarily by ETHA, which attracted $34.3 million on July 20, $52.8 million on July 21, and $53.5 million on July 22.

Despite a $52.8 million outflow on July 24, the fund ended the week in positive territory. Combined with ETHB’s $2.9 million inflow on July 23, BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF lineup finished the five-day period with a net inflow of $99.2 million.By contrast, IBIT recorded inflows of $116.5 million, $163.9 million, and $38.8 million between July 20 and July 22 before sentiment reversed. The fund then posted outflows of $202.5 million on July 23 and $212.2 million on July 24, resulting in a net five-day outflow of $95.5 million.

The broader U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market followed a similar pattern. The sector recorded inflows of $226.8 million on July 20, $203.2 million on July 21, and $69.1 million on July 22 before posting outflows of $225.1 million and $240.1 million on July 23 and July 24, respectively

XRP currently trades within a descending channel pattern that suggests the downtrend may continue to new lows before a rebound could occur.

The broader crypto market has remained stuck in a downward trend, as selling pressure persists across the board. Since hitting the $3.6 all-time high in July 2025, XRP has continued to slide lower, now changing hands at $1.08. This represents a 70% decline from the peak.

Notably, the downward price action has resulted in a series of lower highs and lower lows over the past year, leading to the formation of a descending channel pattern on the daily chart.

For the uninitiated, a descending channel is a pattern where an asset moves between two parallel downward-sloping trendlines. In this case, the upper trendline acts as resistance, while the lower trendline acts as support.

The pattern often plays out during a consistent downtrend, as prices continue to drop lower. With both trendlines sloping downward, the asset persistently witnesses resistance and lower highs and support at lower lows until a breakout above the upper trendline occurs.
