To further lower the participation barrier and improve the user experience, we have officially launched a Smart Copy mode in this upgrade of the Copy Trading system. From now on, users can freely choose between Custom Copy and Smart Copy, flexibly configure strategies, and find the copy trading mode that best suits them.

 

1. What Is Smart Copy?

Smart Copy is an innovative mode that automatically calculates and matches the copy trading amount based on the trader's actual capital usage ratio.

In this mode, each follower’s copy-trading allocation mirrors the lead trader’s allocation, enabling precise alignment with the lead trader’s risk exposure and confidence level. For example, if a lead trader has 1,000 USDT in their account and allocates 100 USDT of margin to a copy-trading position, that position represents 10% of the trader’s balance. If a follower has 100 USDT available for copying that trader, the system will automatically allocate 10 USDT (i.e., 10%) of the follower’s funds as margin for that copy trade.

Compared with the traditional fixed-copy mode, Smart Copy requires only two steps for setup: select a trader, input your planned investment amount (minimum 10 USDT), click “Copy,” and the system starts copying automatically. This greatly simplifies the operation process. Even new users who are not familiar with futures parameters can get started easily — one-click copy for steady returns.

 

2. Core Advantages of Smart Copy

1) Ultra-simple Operation: Just enter your total investment (no need to configure complex parameters) and easily start efficient copy trading.

2) Proportional Synchronization: The system automatically executes trades in the same capital-use ratio as the trader, ensuring aligned risk levels without the need for manual per-order adjustments.

3) Confidence Indication: The proportion of capital used by a trader offers an indirect measure of their confidence level in each specific trade. For example, a 1% allocation may suggest a cautious, exploratory position, while a 50% allocation could indicate very strong conviction and the opportunity can't afford to be missed out.

4) Flexible Control: You can independently adjust your investment amount for each individual trader, managing your capital allocation across different lead traders.

 

 

3. How to Use Smart Copy? (Using the App as an Example)

1) On the Copy Trading homepage, choose a trader you're interested in and tap "Copy". The system will then pop up the Copy Trading Settings window.

2) The page will default to Smart Copy mode — no additional operation needed.

3) Enter the "Investment Amount" you intend to channel for copying this trader, with a minimum of 10 USDT. You can flexibly transfer funds from your futures account or your spot account.

4) For more risk control, expand Advanced Settings to customize parameters such as TP ratio, SL ratio, leverage, trading pairs to copy, slippage protection, and maximum loss per copy trade.

5) Please read carefully and agree to the Copy Trading User Agreement.

6) Click "Copy" — you'll begin automatically following that trader's operations.

 

4. Important Notes When Using Smart Copy

1) Each user can follow up to 10 lead traders simultaneously.

2) When using Smart Copy, you only need to set your total investment amount — other parameters are optional.

3) The system will default to the trader's leverage and margin mode (cross margin / isolated margin) when executing copy trades.

4) Adjustments to your investment amount apply only to one particular trader. If you reduce your investment, please leave at least 10 USDT in your copy trading account so that the copying process can continue smoothly.
