Dear HTX Users,
To further enhance platform risk management and ensure a secure trading environment, HTX will update the rule for transferable unrealized PnL under both the Single-Asset and Multi-Assets Collateral modes for USDT-margined futures. Specifically, unrealized PnL under the cross margin mode will no longer be available for transfer. See the details below:
I. Adjustment Details
Effective Time: July 27, 2026, 09:00 (UTC)
Affected Users: All users trading USDT-margined futures, including grid trading, copy trading, and API users.
Affected Modes: Single-Asset Collateral mode & Multi-Assets Collateral mode for USDT-M futures
Key Changes:
1. Unrealized PnL (floating PnL) under the cross margin mode will no longer be included in the transferable amount. While unrealized PnL can still be used to open new positions, users who wish to transfer profits out of their Futures account must first close their positions to realize those profits.
2. This change will not impact your existing positions, margin ratios, or liquidation prices.
II. Formula
1. Max Transferable Amount (Cross Margin)
Before Adjustment:
Maximum transferable amount = max [0, min (Available asset + Unrealized PnL - Trial Bonus balance, Available asset margin)]
After Adjustment:
Maximum transferable amount = max [0, min (Available asset - Trial Bonus balance, Available asset margin)]
2. Unchanged Formulas
- Maximum open position = Available margin / [Contract face value * max(0, (Order price - Mark price) * Order direction) + Contract face value * Order price / Leverage]
- Transferable position margin (Isolated) = Isolated position margin + min(0, Unrealized PnL) − Isolated position initial margin
- USDT available margin = max (0, USDT margin equity - USDT initial margin)
III. Recommendations
- If you currently hold positions with floating PnL and plan to transfer profits out, we recommend closing your positions and completing the transfer before the effective time.
- After the adjustment takes effect, please close your positions first if you want to transfer out your profits.
