To address the security risks of autonomous agent operations, version 2.0 adds a permission system that can statically and dynamically intercept high-risk shell commands and sensitive file read/write operations. Additionally, version 2.0 introduces Workspace environment abstraction, decoupling the business logic of agents from their execution environments. The same agent can run locally, in Docker containers, or in E2B cloud sandboxes without code modification; combined with a warm pool mechanism, it reduces the overhead of container creation in high-concurrency scenarios such as reinforcement learning. Currently, the framework has completed the upgrade of the Python version to 2.0, and a new TypeScript version has been launched, with a Java version expected to follow soon.
