据Payy周三在X发布的公告称,专注于隐私的钱包及加密银行银行卡项目Payy,现已上线一条支持隐私功能的以太坊二层网络。

Payy表示,用户现在可以将该网络集成至MetaMask账户,且在该网络上进行的所有ERC-20代币转账都会自动私有化,无需对智能合约进行任何更改。

Payy介绍,网络的两大核心用户群体将是希望实现“链上资金流转而无需担心数据被分析与利用”的机构及金融科技公司,以及希望体验隐私工具、但又不想“频繁切换多个钱包”的加密原生用户。

该公司称:“一些最大规模的稳定币项目方已成为Payy Network首日上线合作伙伴,我们将在未来几周公布他们的名单。”

该网络兼容所有以太坊虚拟机(EVM)钱包,项目官网还指出,该L2主要致力于“让稳定币隐私化”,同时也支持所有ERC-20代币。

消息公布后,Payy首席执行官Sid Gandhi也在X平台分享更多细节,指出Payy正致力于帮助大型传统金融机构愿意更放心地将资本转移上链。

他表示:“几乎每家银行、金融科技公司和企业都在告诉我们同一件事:如果他们的财务数据暴露在全球面前,真实资金流动就无法上链。”

Payy解释称,该二层网络设有私密的ERC-20资金池,用户在使用如MetaMask的钱包时,其交易自动通过这些池路由,实现资金从普通钱包转出,同时外部无法看到资金流向。

当与去中心化金融应用和智能合约交互时,资金会从私密资金池取出并转至新地址。

此前,Payy主要提供其注重隐私的钱包及加密银行卡服务,上线时间为2025年年中。该项目称其钱包服务用户已累计达到10万。

目前市场上已有其他以太坊二层及协议提供隐私服务,例如Aztec Network和Railgun。

与此同时,市场上还出现了一批专注隐私保护的代币,如Zcash(ZEC)和门罗币(XMR),2025年在加密隐私板块爆发期间,受到了极大关注。

Payy表示,其目标是通过降低隐私门槛,为用户带来差异化体验,例如无需管理多个钱包或在多协议间切换。

不过,Payy并非业内唯一在布局该赛道的项目。Cointelegraph在十月报道,以太坊开发者正在推动Kohaku路线图下的钱包隐私升级。

Kohaku计划旨在减少对追踪链上交易的中心化方依赖,同时引入发送与接收隐私等功能。

Treasury Secretary: Crypto 'Nihilists' Who Say They Don't Need Clarity Act 'Should Move to El Salvador'

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent issued stern words Thursday to crypto stakeholders who think they can live without a market structure bill, stating it’s “impossible to proceed” with regulating crypto in the United States if the legislation does not pass Congress.


“There seems to be a nihilist group in the industry who would prefer no regulation over this very good regulation,” Bessent said during testimony today before the Senate Banking Committee.


“We have to get this Clarity Act across the finish line,” the Treasury Secretary added a few minutes later. “Any market participants who don’t want it should move to El Salvador.”


Bessent’s comments came weeks after Coinbase, America’s top crypto company, abruptly pulled support for the bill, derailing a key Senate Banking vote on the legislation. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said at the time that the company would “rather have no bill than a bad bill.”


That comment was publicly rebuked by the White House, which warned that if the crypto industry believes it will be able “to operate indefinitely without a comprehensive regulatory framework,” such thinking amounts to “pure fantasy.”


Coinbase has since returned to negotiations on the bill, but continues to insist the legislation must allow for stablecoins—crypto tokens pegged to the value of the dollar—to generate interest for holders. The banking lobby has furiously protested that ask, warning it could destabilize the U.S. banking system and lead to deposit flight, particularly at the community bank level.


Coinbase’s leadership has adamantly argued such fears are unfounded. But on Thursday, Bessent appeared to give some credence to the banking lobby’s worries, in response to a question from Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), one of the authors of the market structure bill.

Nine weeks in the making, the Bitcoin bear flag may now have broken down, and Bitcoin could be on the way to $70,000 or perhaps even lower. Is there any hope left, or is the bear market about to clamp its icy tendrils around the crypto sector?

A plunge out of the bear flag (purple lines) and down to $86,000 could be the beginning of the next leg down for the $BTC price. There was a bounce from $86,000, but the chances are that this might only take the price back to the bottom of the bear flag in order to confirm the breakdown.

As can be seen in the short-term chart above, the price fell out of a small bear pennant, and once it had broken down through $88,000, downward acceleration rapidly took the price to the $86,000 local bottom.

As Bitcoin prices plummeted below key support levels, volatility in the digital asset market intensified, and Strategy (MSTR), at the heart of the storm, faced unprecedented pressure.

The company, founded by Michael Saylor, confirmed on Thursday that it suffered a net loss of $12.4 billion in the fourth quarter, impacted by a significant write-down of the fair value of its Bitcoin holdings. The loss was primarily due to a $17.4 billion unrealized fair value loss required by accounting standards for mark-to-market valuation.

With Bitcoin falling below $63,000, Strategy's stock price plunged 17.1% on Thursday. This not only erased all gains made since the US election but also brought the stock down nearly 80% from its all-time high in November 2024.

The company's Bitcoin holdings are currently worth approximately $46 billion, with an average purchase cost of $76,052 per coin. This marks the first time since 2023 that the company's Bitcoin holdings have fallen below their cumulative cost basis.

 Faced with the market crash, Michael Saylor admitted in the earnings call that "selling Bitcoin is an option," despite his "HODL" (hold on) pronouncements on social media platform X.

Even more unsettling for the market is the stalled cycle of continuously raising funds to buy Bitcoin using "equity premiums." For the first time, the company's cost basis is higher than the market price, and its financial experiment is facing a severe test.

With MSTR's stock price plummeting, convertible bond investors are likely to seek early redemption for cash rather than conversion to shares. The first $1 billion in redemptions may mature on September 15, 2027, with another $6.4 billion maturing in 2028, bringing the total potential cash demand to $8.2 billion.
