World Liberty Financial [WLFI] formed a top around the $0.18 supply zone in late December. Since then, it has faced steady distribution, and the price was back at the $0.106 long-term support.

The World Liberty Forum convened financial and crypto leadership at Mar-a-Lago. It was hosted by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., and focused on tokenization strategy and capital-market integration.

Rapper Nicki Minaj was a featured speaker at the event, where WLFI announced plans to tokenize revenue from Maldives resort loans, according to reports.

More recently, the USD1 came under a “coordinated attack“, with the stablecoin briefly slipping below its $1 peg. The company reassured users that the depeg attempt failed and USD1 was trading at par once more.

Bearish WLFI trend set to continue
The Congressional investigation and forced market-wide selling in the first week of February saw WLFI drop below a three-month range. This range extended from $0.106 to $0.175. At the time of writing, the lows were under siege once again.

The range lows were defended in recent weeks, and a bounce to $0.13 occurred. The bulls had no follow-up to this relief rally. The price action, volume trends, and the OBV showed that the buyers had exhausted themselves over the past week.

The bounce to $0.13 saw the RSI retest neutral 50 and face rejection. This underscored the bearish momentum prevalent on the 1-day timeframe.

The $0.966 local lows are likely to be tested in the coming days.

Short-term WLFI prediction
The short-term range lows just under $0.1 were likely to be tested soon. The $0.96-$0.99 was the nearby local demand zone that beckoned prices closer.

The long liquidations under the current market price agreed that the next move was likely to be bearish. However, the liquidation heatmap also highlighted the dense cluster of short liquidations at $0.13.

Ethereum dropped 1.55% to $1,828, while most major altcoins crashed, with Bitcoin Cash recording the sharpest fall.

A brief depeg of the Trump-backed USD1 stablecoin and fresh regulatory discussions in the US and South Korea added further pressure to market sentiment.

Crypto prices today are falling fast as a wave of panic triggered by the new US regulatory development hit the global market. Bitcoin is down to the $63,000 levels. Most altcoins have followed suit, trading in the red zone. The global market cap plunged 1.54% to $2.19 trillion at press time. The main reason for this drop is the latest Trump tariff levy of 15%.

Currently sitting at over 92% lower than its all-time high levels from 2021, all hope seems to be lost for the meme coins as more than 60% of all holders have plunged into losses. However, even amid this disturbing trend, expectations still remain that the Shiba Inu price could see a reversal and move upward again.

Shiba Inu Could Hit New All-Time Highs?

In an analysis shared earlier this month, crypto analyst Shib Spain highlights the possibility of the Shiba Inu price seeing a major price increase. This comes as the meme coin has entered what looks to be an accumulation phase, after coming out of a retracement period.

With the current downtrend, the analyst expects that the Shiba Inu price is setting up a bear trap, tricking traders into thinking the price will continue to fall and then doing the reverse. If this happens, then the analyst is expecting the meme coin’s price to rise 22x from the bottom of the bear trap, sitting around $0.0000045.

A 2,200% increase from here would put the price well above its all-time high of $0.00008, setting it on a course to new peaks. Shib Spain’s chart puts the top somewhere around $0.00018, essentially double its current peak levels.

In the shorter term, the CoinCodex algorithm has also predicted a possible increase in the Shiba Inu price. The 1-3 month predictions show a tendency for a reversal, although the scale of this reversal seems to be severely limited in how high it could go.
