An analyst suggests that selling pressure on an XRP-related altcoin may finally be easing.
Well-known crypto analyst Ali Martinez has shared a fresh technical outlook on Stellar, highlighting key price levels that have defined its recent structure.
According to his analysis, XLM has been trading within a well-defined channel since February. During this period, every upward move has repeatedly been rejected around the $0.179 level, followed by pullbacks toward the $0.147 support zone.
Martinez notes that this pattern—rejection at resistance and bounce from support—has persisted for months, creating a clear and consistent trading range.

US Bitcoin ETFs saw a record $664 million in inflow in a single day, the highest since January, due to Iran's brief reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz eased concerns about the energy crisis and triggered a rotation of institutional investors towards Bitcoin.

On April 17, US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their largest single-day inflow since January. The reopening of a vital Middle Eastern shipping route triggered a broader rotation of risk assets in the market.

According to SoSoValue data, 12 ETFs absorbed approximately $664 million in new funds on April 17.

The influx of funds was spurred by the Iranian Foreign Minister's announcement that the Strait of Hormuz had reopened to commercial shipping during the ceasefire.

Subsequent confirmation by US President Trump eased concerns about disruptions to global energy supplies.

This macroeconomic positive triggered a large-scale single-day inflow into spot Bitcoin ETFs.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the pack, attracting $284 million in just one day on Friday. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) followed closely, taking in $163.4 million, while the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) absorbed $117.9 million.

Morgan Stanley's newly launched MSBT fund also attracted $16.6 million on the same day, demonstrating the initial success of the wealth management giant's customized products.

The procedure switches to Flare Confidential Compute at the second stage, allowing for public auditability while maintaining transaction privacy. In the last phase, the responsibilities of proposer and builder are combined, and validators take on a verification-focused role.

The goal of this redesign is to increase transaction ordering efficiency while guaranteeing that value created by MEV is recorded at the protocol level rather than by a select few players.

The question isn’t whether Paulson is right about Treasury market fragility. It’s whether crypto trades as a safe haven or a risk asset when it is proven right, and history gives a clear answer, at least in the short run.

A disorderly Treasury sell-off forces dollar liquidity higher as investors dump bonds and demand cash. That dynamic hits leveraged positions first. Crypto markets, where open interest across derivatives venues has been climbing sharply, carry exactly that leverage profile, elevated exposure that becomes a liability the moment dollar funding costs spike.

The April 2025 episode clearly illustrated the mechanism. When Treasury yields surged amid tariff-escalation fears, crypto did not decouple toward safety. It sold alongside equities, in defiance of the digital-gold narrative. Correlation to risk assets held. That’s the bear case in one data point.

Paulson’s specific concern, that demand for Treasuries could collapse suddenly and without obvious warning, governed by what he calls the “law of economic gravity”, implies a non-linear shock rather than a gradual yield drift.

Non-linear shocks are what liquidation cascades are built from. A 10-year yield breaking decisively above 5% with accelerating momentum would be the confirmation threshold worth watching.
