What Is Third-Party Custody?
Third-Party Custody is an asset security solution launched by HTX for institutional investors. By introducing world-leading third-party custodians, HTX enables the effective separation of asset ownership and trading rights. Client assets are held independently by the custodian, meaning HTX does not have direct access to the private keys. Custodied assets can be mapped to HTX trading accounts on a 1:1 basis, allowing clients to seamlessly benefit from the platform's liquidity.
The newly launched page includes the following main sections:

This section highlights key advantages, including secure asset isolation, compliant legal frameworks, customized API integration, and high settlement efficiency (supporting up to T+0).
2. Operational Flowchart
This section features a clear four-step diagram illustrating the complete closed-loop process—from fund custody and 1:1 asset mapping to trade execution and settlement reporting.
3. Showcase of Top-Tier Custody Partners
HTX has completed deep integrations with Fireblocks and BitGo. Users can learn more about each custodian directly on the page.
4. Online Application Portal
Institutional clients can submit a Third-Party Custody application directly on the page and select their preferred custodian. The HTX team will contact applicants within 24 hours.
