1. Project Introduction
FTT was the utility token of the FTX ecosystem, a crypto derivatives exchange developed by liquidity provider Alameda Research. On November 2, 2022, Coindesk published a report on Alameda’s financials, triggering a collapse of trust. FTT plummeted from $20 to $3 within days. By November 11, FTX, FTX US, and Alameda filed for bankruptcy, and founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) resigned.
