$GRVT ETHEREUM RESEARCHER WARNS: “BUNKER MODE” MAY BE COMING

Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake is urging the crypto industry to calmly prepare for a potential cryptographic security crisis.

His concern? Rapid advances in AI and mathematics could eventually make ECDSA-based private key recovery dramatically faster than expected.

Important: ECDSA has NOT been broken.

But Drake believes the industry should start preparing now:
🔹 Avoid address reuse
🔹 Keep public keys hidden where possible
🔹 Move assets to fresh, never-signed addresses
🔹 Rotate ECDSA keys for critical signers
🔹 Explore hash-based cryptography
🔹 Accelerate post-quantum preparations

His most aggressive warning is that, in a worst-case scenario, ECDSA could potentially become vulnerable in “months, not years” if a major breakthrough enables fast private-key recovery.

For Ethereum, Bitcoin and the broader crypto ecosystem, this raises a much bigger question:
What happens if the cryptography protecting trillions of dollars suddenly becomes vulnerable?

Drake’s message is NOT “panic.”
It is: PREPARE BEFORE YOU HAVE TO.

The crypto industry may need to start thinking beyond quantum resistance, toward a future of post-AI cryptography.

This is no longer just a Bitcoin or Ethereum issue.
It could become a security issue for the entire digital asset industry.

$GRVT Sui price prediction for mid-October stays bullish above $1.06, the level $SUI needs to hold after this week’s sharp pullback from its post-Basecamp high.

Sui Weekly Chart Analysis: Can $SUI Hold the 0.236 Fibonacci Level?

The coin trades near $1.10, down 9% this week, after the week opened at $1.2082, spiked to a high of $1.2540, then fell to a low of $0.9977 before recovering. That low briefly pierced the 0.236 Fibonacci retracement at $1.0552, measured from the 2025 high near $2.3556 down to this year’s low near $0.6535.
The 20-week EMA at $0.9266 sits below the 50-week at $1.2431 and the 100-week at $1.4974, an inverted order that reflects how far price has fallen over the past year. A 200-week EMA isn’t available yet given Sui’s shorter trading history. The Parabolic SAR at $0.6990 remains well below price. This week’s candle is still open, so the final weekly close could shift before it settles.

Sui 4-Hour Chart: Can $SUI Reclaim the Bollinger Band Midline?

On the 4-hour chart, $SUI trades near $1.1018, up 2% today, after bouncing off a cluster of lows near $1.03 to $1.04 reached October 8 to 9. That bounce has carried price back above the Bollinger Band basis at $1.0912, with the upper band at $1.1654 as the next hurdle and the lower band at $1.0170 as support below.

The rally into early October ran from about $0.70 in mid-September to a peak near $1.35 on October 4 to 5, before the reversal that defined this week. RSI at 48.68 has crossed back above its moving average at 36.84, which points to short-term momentum turning up, though it stays below the neutral 50 line.

$GRVT BlackRock’s spot Ethereum ($ETH) ETF recorded nearly $500 million in net outflows over the five trading sessions ending October 9.

The outflows from BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (NASDAQ: ETHA) accounted for most of the $542.2 million withdrawn from U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs over the same period, indicating sustained selling pressure across regulated investment products tracking the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.

The withdrawals extended the sector’s outflow streak to nine consecutive trading sessions, with cumulative net outflows approaching $700 million since September 29.

BlackRock’s ETHA recorded net outflows of $31.9 million on October 5, followed by $201.9 million on October 6 and $116.1 million on October 7. Withdrawals then slowed to $71.1 million on October 8 and $56.1 million on October 9.
The five-day total reached $477.1 million. BlackRock’s second Ethereum ETF, ETHB, recorded no net flows during the period.

Across all U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs, daily net outflows totaled $50.8 million on October 5, $201.9 million on October 6, $160.9 million on October 7, $72.5 million on October 8, and $56.1 million on October 9.

Despite the slowdown in withdrawals toward the end of the week, no session recorded positive net flows. Cumulative net inflows since the funds launched in July 2024 remained positive at approximately $13.3 billion, according to SoSoValue data.

Ethereum price correction

Ethereum also declined 9.2%, closing at approximately $2,725 on October 5 before falling to around $2,474 on October 9.

The decline followed a broader cryptocurrency sell-off, as rising U.S. Treasury yields, elevated oil prices, and a stronger dollar weighed on risk assets. Ethereum fell below $2,600 on October 7 as ETF withdrawals accelerated and leveraged positions faced liquidation pressure.
