$GRVT Circle and Tereina announced that they are joining forces to enable corporate payments with USDC and EURC in SAP Cloud ERP. Eligible enterprises with Circle Mint accounts will be able, through SAP Pay, to send and settle transactions directly in digital dollars and digital euros, without the need to set up standalone crypto gateways or alter their existing accounting systems.

This integration marks a key milestone for institutional stablecoin adoption, as it connects digital infrastructure with the SAP ecosystem, software linked to 84% of global commerce. Upon approving an invoice or purchase order, the system processes and reconciles the payment in real time via enterprise blockchain, drastically reducing liquidity friction, cross-border settlement times, and operational dependencies on the traditional banking system.

The rollout includes support on the Arc enterprise network for sub-millisecond settlements and fees paid in USDC. The next step of the project aims to integrate operations with SAP’s Joule artificial intelligence agents, fully automating the creation, approval, and accounting execution of global payments.

$GRVT The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has urged EU crypto firms to stop providing services involving stablecoins that aren’t compliant with the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) framework, setting a three-month deadline to address existing exposures.

On Thursday, ESMA said national regulators should require companies to address remaining exposures to non-compliant stablecoins as soon as possible and no later than Jan. 8, 2027.

“Crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) authorised under MiCA should cease providing services related to non-MiCA-compliant stablecoins to clients in the European Union,” ESMA wrote.

The guidance covers MiCA-regulated crypto services, including trading platforms, exchange services, order execution, custody, transfers, investment advice and portfolio management.

ESMA said crypto firms should implement technical, contractual and organisational controls to prevent EU clients from acquiring or increasing their exposure to unauthorised stablecoins.

Regulators may permit limited services to help clients exit existing positions, including liquidation, conversion, withdrawal, transfers and safekeeping. However, ESMA said such activities must be temporary and closely supervised.

The update expands on ESMA’s January 2025 guidance, which called for restrictions on trading and exchange services that involved non-compliant stablecoins.

$GRVT The government of Kyrgyzstan has ordered the shutdown of USDKG, its state-backed gold stablecoin, and instructed the Ministry of Finance to liquidate EVA, the company that issued it, along with Coin Nomad Exchange, the country’s first state-owned crypto trading platform. The official explanation is optimising state participation and improving the efficiency of state asset management. The real story is more complicated.

What USDKG Actually Was?

Launched on November 20, 2025, with the personal participation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, USDKG was presented as the world’s first government-issued stablecoin. It is backed by physical gold and pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar. The issuer was a state-owned company fully controlled by the Kyrgyz Finance Ministry, later renamed EVA. The registered supply was just over 50 million tokens, all running on the Tron blockchain.

Authorities positioned USDKG as a cross-border payment tool with plans to operate it through at least 2034. Also, in May 2026, it was listed on OSL, a Hong Kong-regulated platform, in a USDKG/USDT trading pair. For a brief window, it looked like a legitimate government-backed experiment in sovereign digital currency.

Where It Went Wrong?

In May 2026, the United Kingdom added Virtual Asset Issuer, the original name of EVA, to its sanctions list. Besides, British authorities accused the company of conducting business of economic significance to the Russian government.

Two days after the UK sanctions landed, the issuer was quietly re-registered under the abbreviated name EVA. Moreover, Kyrgyzstan was included in the same sanctions package alongside other crypto structures the UK linked to the Russian project A7 and its ruble-denominated stablecoin A7A5.

The U.S. Treasury Department had already designated A7 as a shadow banking entity used by Iran to evade sanctions in October 20

Sui's native Bitcoin finance infrastructure goes live in a phased rollout beginning this month.

Sui, a high-performance blockchain designed to move money as freely as messages, will announce today at Sui Basecamp that Hashi mainnet will go live this month, backed by more than $500 million in capital commitments from its launch coalition of more than 20 of crypto’s biggest heavyweights.

Anchorage Digital, home to America's first federally chartered crypto bank, becomes the newest day-one launch partner, giving its institutional clients seamless access to Hashi and bringing additional stablecoin liquidity to the network.

$500 Million in Capital Commitments Locked for Mainnet

Hashi enters mainnet with more than $500 million in committed capital, giving Bitcoin-backed markets on Sui a running start. Lending, borrowing, credit, vaults, structured products, and other applications will begin with meaningful capital already behind them in vaults run by various Hashi vault providers, such as Aftermath, Concrete, Fluid, and others.

Hashi was built around a simple opportunity: more than $1 trillion in Bitcoin remains largely idle because institutions. Publicly traded companies with Bitcoin on their balance sheets have lacked a way to use native BTC in programmable financial markets with the transparency, compliance, controls, and security they require. Hashi mainnet changes that. Bitcoin remains on the Bitcoin network, while Hashi coordinates its use as collateral through Sui smart contracts.

“Bitcoin has already become a global reserve asset, and today, the financial infrastructure around it is catching up,” said Adeniyi Abiodun, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Mysten Labs, the original contributor to Sui. “Hashi is launching with serious capital and a coalition of industry leaders beca

An address funded through Tornado Cash claimed and transferred roughly $3.55 million in previously unclaimed bridge assets through Ethereum wallet 0x4943 on Oct. 9, using two EIP-7702 account delegations.

BlockSec Phalcon, which flagged the transfers, said the onchain record confirms valid authorizations, “but not whether the owner signed them intentionally, was tricked into signing them, or had the private key compromised.”

The transaction records show assets arriving from Agglayer and $NEAR’s Rainbow Bridge at 0x4943, then leaving for 0x24a9 within the same respective transactions. The recipient, 0x24a9, submitted both transactions.

The first transaction, at 4:13:47 p.m. ET, moved approximately 499,865 $USDT, 325,587 USDC, 500,048 DAI and 0.9953 $ETH from Agglayer through the wallet to 0x24a9. Those assets were worth about $1.33 million.

The second transaction, at 4:24:59 p.m. ET, moved about 2.22 million $USDT from $NEAR’s Rainbow Bridge through the same wallet to the same recipient, worth approximately $2.22 million.

The Defiant calculated the dollar estimates using onchain token quantities and DefiLlama historical prices at or within one second of the transaction timestamps.

An earlier funding transaction, at 3:32:59 p.m. ET that day, sent about 0.09783 $ETH to 0x24a9 from Tornado Cash’s 0.1 $ETH pool.

What the Delegations Allowed
EIP-7702 lets an externally owned account—a wallet controlled by a private key—delegate execution to smart-contract code. A separate address can submit a transaction carrying the account’s signed authorization and pay its gas fees, while the delegated code executes in the authorizing wallet’s context.

That mechanism allowed 0x24a9 to execute the claims and transfers through 0x4943. Etherscan marks both delegation authorizations as valid. Their cryptographic validity does not establish who controlled the signing key or whether the wallet owner intended the transfers.
