Pi Network (PI) released the initial version of its Pi Launchpad as a Pi App on Testnet with a test token on March 16. That being said, the team claimed to introduce a token launch mechanism that differs from typical Web3 launchpad models.

The Pi Core Team said the Testnet rollout is designed to let Pioneers familiarize themselves with how the process works before a Mainnet launch. The Launchpad applies Design 1 from the PiRC framework, an open-source proposal system Pi released on its Open Network anniversary.

Readings above 1 suggest that these investors are accumulating profits, while readings under 1 reveal otherwise. According to GugaOnChain, the LTH-SOPR currently stands at 1.01, reflecting that Bitcoin’s long-term investors are exiting the markets at break-even, or with minimal profits. The analyst further explains that this means the “veterans are once again aggressively defending their acquisition cost at $70,675.” At the same time, the Puell Multiple reflects a reading of 0.60, which GugaOnChain describes as a typical sign that the market is undervalued and that Bitcoin’s miners are starting to experience exhaustion. Usually, when the Puell Multiple falls to 0.5, it marks capitulation among miners. Bitcoin (BTC) broke through the $72,000 mark on March 13th, but this doesn't necessarily mean a sustained upward trend has formed. While the surge was noteworthy, broader market indicators suggest that short-term price action may still be subject to downward pressure.

As of this writing, Bitcoin's price has retreated to around $70,650 as market sentiment begins to weaken. As the market reassesses its momentum, key on-chain indicators provide a clearer picture of Bitcoin's current state.

Weak demand continues to put pressure on Bitcoin.

The Buy/Sell Pressure Delta, an indicator used to assess which side has greater influence in the market, suggests that the demand behind Bitcoin's recent surge remains fragile.

Data from Alphractal shows a death cross-like pattern forming shortly after the breakout. This occurs when the sell pressure line (red) crosses above the buy pressure line (green), indicating that selling pressure is beginning to outweigh buying pressure.

 This crossover point indicates that short sellers increased their positions shortly after the price surge, releasing more Bitcoin into the market than buyers accumulated during the same period.

Even so, this development should be seen as a warning sign, not confirmation of complete bearish control of the market. A more comprehensive look at the Delta indicator shows it remains in positive territory, meaning overall market pressure still leans towards buying.
