The United States has reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the emergency oil release coordinated among members of the International Energy Agency (IEA) and suggested releasing an additional 100 million barrels of crude oil.

The proposal highlights ongoing concerns over global oil supply, energy security, and the effectiveness of emergency measures designed to stabilize the market. Strategic oil reserves are commonly used to help address supply disruptions and ease pressure on energy prices during periods of uncertainty.

An additional release of 100 million barrels could increase available crude supplies and potentially influence oil prices, depending on the pace of the release, market demand, and broader geopolitical developments. However, the actual impact would depend on whether the additional supply is sufficient to offset existing disruptions and changing consumption patterns.

The US position also raises questions about how IEA member countries should coordinate their responses to energy market challenges. While emergency releases can provide short-term relief, they do not necessarily resolve the underlying causes of supply shortages or prolonged market volatility.

For oil traders and investors, the proposal is another development to watch closely. Any confirmed decision regarding the volume and timing of an additional release could affect crude oil prices, energy stocks, inflation expectations, and broader financial markets.

The key question now is whether IEA members will support the proposed additional release and how the market will respond to any further action.

SpaceX stock: daily structure favors the bearish case

The daily 50-session EMA stands at $150.59, below the 20-session EMA at $154.56. Price at $146.99 sits beneath both, leaving overhead resistance rather than a fully aligned bearish average structure.

Meanwhile, daily RSI14 stands at 44.08, below the neutral 50 threshold but above oversold territory. The daily MACD line is positive at 1.74, yet below its signal at 3.63. Its negative histogram of -1.89 reinforces the bearish daily assessment without implying that every momentum measure is negative.

Notably, the daily Bollinger mid-band is $155.29, with the lower band at $139.01 and the upper band at $171.56. Price occupies the lower half of that envelope. Consequently, the mid-band remains an overhead reference r
