Polkadot has surged over 11% in 24 hours as trading volume jumped nearly 78%, signaling renewed market activity as buyers returned aggressively to the DOT market. 

Rising participation has accompanied the move toward the $1.59 region, suggesting that traders have stepped back into the market after weeks of subdued activity. 

Increased liquidity has strengthened short-term price dynamics while expanding volatility across spot markets. 

As a result, Polkadot [DOT] traded closer to an important resistance barrier that could influence the next directional move. 

Descending channel breakout reshapes DOT structure

Price action reflected a notable structural shift after DOT had broken above a prolonged descending channel. 

The breakout has followed the sharp rally that pushed the price toward the $1.686 resistance zone, placing the asset near a technical inflection point. 

Earlier price compression inside the channel had restricted recovery attempts for months. 

However, the recent surge has lifted the price above that declining boundary, signaling that bearish control has weakened considerably.

Technical indicators now reflect strengthening buyer activity as the RSI has climbed to 57.51, clearly above the 50 neutral threshold. 

This shift suggests that demand has strengthened steadily following earlier weakness during the prolonged downtrend. 

As buyers regained control of short-term price swings, the indicator has gradually advanced into bullish territory.

Meanwhile, DOT continued trading near $1.591, which places it between the $1.400 support level and the $1.686 resistance barrier.

Triangle breakout shifts XRP market structure



Ripple [XRP] has broken above the symmetrical triangle that had constrained price action for several weeks. 

The breakout occurred as buyers reclaimed the $1.46 resistance zone at press time after repeated consolidation between $1.33 support and $1.46 resistance.

Price compression inside the triangle had gradually tightened volatility before the breakout attempt developed. 

However, the breakout move signaled a potential structural shift in short-term market dynamics. 

Buyers have continued to defend higher lows along the rising trendline while pressing against overhead resistance levels. 

Such behavior reflects growing demand around XRP’s aforementioned price range. As a result, the breakout above the upper boundary placed attention on higher liquidity zones near $1.64.

As of this writing, technical indicators had begun reflecting strengthening buying pressure following the recent breakout attempt.  The MACD indicator showed the MACD line at 0.0175 while the signal line remained near 0.0104. 

In addition, the histogram has continued expanding into positive territory. These developments suggest that bearish pressure has weakened after the consolidation phase

Hashdex has lowered the management fee on its multi-asset crypto exchange-traded fund, Hashdex Nasdaq CME Crypto Index ETF [NCIQ], as competition across the U.S. crypto ETF market continues to build.

According to a 16 March 2026 filing, the sponsor fee for NCIQ has been reduced from 0.50% to 0.25% per year, effective immediately. The change was disclosed in an 8-K filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fee had previously been temporarily reduced through a waiver set to remain in place until the end of 2026. The new filing makes that lower fee level permanent
